  1. At the very least, it's an alternate universe where Void has had more influence and further corrupted characters we already know, such as the murloc Gelihast and the hydra Aku'mai (although, even in classic lore BFD, was already home of whispers of the Old Gods, they are clearly highlighting the presence of Void in Azeroth in general). Gelihast, for example, was originally just a murloc that took home there, invited by the whispers, but it was never said he succumbed to void influence.

In the SoD version of BFD he's clearly not himself anymore and the presence of the Murloc eggs tells me we'll see more Void Murlocs in the future.

  2. Cant happen like this. A forth wall break for an rpg entirely removes what little RP is left. The acknowledgement that they are parallel timelines is an implied admittance that they are games, not worlds. Crossovers would also depeat the purpose of classic (a time capsule). Would be a jump the shark moment.

  3. Since WOW went downhill (Mainly Cata), I've always wanted a alternative-reality version of WOW. Where the major fuck ups Blizzard made to the game never happened, a WOW we Need, and will never Greed! 😇
I did enjoy Legion though, the only post Wrath expansion I really enjoyed.

  4. This is the brain-tickle I needed, I’ve been stuck on the first ones so this is fun to think about. I think WoD was a strong enough indication that they’re willing to have us visit alternate time ways
