Blizzard announce some late-stage Mythic+ changes ahead of testing, and they’re absolutely baffling. In some ways they’re great, but in others, we have absolutely no idea what they’re thinking.

  1. I'm just glad that the likes of Afflicted and Incorporeal are gone. Absolutely hated those affixes that made certain classes completely undesirable. I do wish they kept Spiteful over the likes of Bolstering or Bursting though.

  2. There is 0 good reason for key depletion. It just makes people more skeptical towards each other (because you’re always worried some random jackass will rage quit after dying only twice) and ruin your key.

  3. Tanks crying when DH is legit an unkillable force with insane self heals. Also, you can easily kite if you got a non-braindead group as well.
Stop crying before the THORNS has been tested though. As long as it doesn't scale with key level, this could be alright.

  4. it's because they don't know how to make things hard other than create more damage you have to heal, damage you have to tank, or damage you have to avoid, so they just make more damage

  5. The problem is the meta doesn't matter for most people, even midcore. Most classes can totally do decently high keys on anything. It only really matters when you get into hardcore, super sweaty, MDI level stuff. That being said, this is wow, and everyone just sees graphs, and the word meta and loses all sense of reason. So while these affixes are technically doable for everyone, it's just not going to work out that way. IMO this brings more hindrance, especially to players that play classes that are seen as “bad”. Just my two cents.

  6. M+ should be removed, hear me out.

if you removed affixes, the timer, and keys entirely and just had a dungeon victory mean you can move up a level, would you actually lose anything or would it just be less frustrating?

  7. Idea: Remove all Affixes except for 4 + 1 – Tyrannical/Fortified/Teeming/Patrolling + Seasonal Affix

    – Seasonal Affix will always be active in M+
    – Each Week the Dungeons will Rotate between Tyrannical/Fortified/Teeming/Patrolling
    – Dungeons scale harder in enemy damage and health to compensate for removal of other Affixes

    – Classic Style Tyrannical
    – Classic Style Fortified
    – Teeming – Adds additional enemies to selected Packs that would be considered the "More Dangerous" ones that require Kicks/CC
    – Patrolling – Periodically with no specific spawn timer, but with cooldown, spawn a roaming patrol at a random spot in the dungeon that always patrols towards the players. Patrol will include a "More Dangerous" enemy that requires Kicks/CC

Allow the scale of the dungeon to be a gear check and the weekly affixes to be the skill check. Affixes should also be designed in a way to not need any addons. Just awareness.

  8. My suggestion would be to have m+ only scaling in its difficulty and add positive affix only – if you heal this mob full, get heal increase. If you kill this in time, get dmg increase. So if people decide to do the bonus action/effort, they are rewarded and it might get little easier to clear difficult scaling content
