Bots are Ruining the Economy in Shadowlands, and we need to take action! In this video I show you how to identify bots, and a couple of locations where you will find them! The most popular and destructive are Skinning and Herbalism Bots, and the most popular zones are Bastion and Ardenweald because there’s less aggressive mobs there so the bots can run around with with less threat. These bots are very destructive to the economy of the game and has contributed to several goldfarms becoming nerfed, aswell as lowering the gold per hour from the goldfarms aswell. Botting has become a real problem in Shadowlands and no matter where I go, I see a Herbalism or Skinning Bot. One of the main issues is that they don't get banned before they make profit, making their botting operations profitable. Blizzard needs to step it up on banning them faster and we need to do a good job reporting every bot we see!

Why people use bots…
If you see feral druids popping out of stealth, killing a mob, skinning, and moving onto the next one: report him just in case.
This is a method used by the botters to avoid getting reported, because they're invisible most of the time.

Don't get confused. Mass producing materials is not ruining the economy, it's driving it. I don't mean we need bots, just the argument is incorrect.
There are SOOO many druids on my realm with the same gear. I report at least 12 a day, herbing, skinning and mining

Last night I was in Dalaran WOTLK and I seen more than 30 Druid all with the same gear buying tundra mammoths for the vender mount. I noticed about 3 different routes that were programmed. They came from 3 different directions but would all run to the same spot before going to the vender and hearthing, or they ran up to the FP area and flew away. If you got the time. Just stop by the vender in Dalaran, see how many bots you can report. Do the box trick to mess up their pathing. And get that lovely mail from bliz.
If multiboxing isn't allowed anymore, this shouldn't be either.
I feel like they aren't doing everything in their power to stop these bots.

thanks god you make this video…. not just farm video, yes blizzard respon and banned the bot, but there always have new bot in 1-2 day after it banned.

Hi. I saw a bot today in mythic dungeon 0. Is that possible? Since we trying to interact with him and it seems controled like it was machine and not human behind keyboard 😀 Also it was moonkin.
Blizz doesn't care about bots, that's painfully obvious and has been for a long long time. At one point on my old server there was over a thousand bots doing stonecore alone, and was close to two months before any of them were banned and when they were there were new ones the next day. Hundreds of millions of gold can buy a lot of new accounts and game time even after their gold sales.

I've mained alchemy/herb since vanilla. Stinks they control the market so making profit with alchemy is a real chore.

I reported 3-4 multiboxers but didn't hear back from customer support at all
I just got back to wow after 3 years, used the last 120k gold I had to buy a wow token…still don't have shadowlands and just got my druid to 50. One thing that can help, is to get rid of the 'teleport: moonglade' lol. If you go there, it's just bots in a congo line unloading all their stuff to the vendors then porting back. Hell, make the people complete a captcha code or something in order to use it.

I've gotten at least 4 bots banned in the last two weeks. I get in game mail too.
I was skinning in Ardenweald back in late december – early january, and i've actually stopped skinning because of these bots, who i didn't know were bots at the time. If only i knew, i could have gotten like 6-7 of them banned the same day. Bots are pathatic.

If by 'ruining the economy' you mean provide cheap materials and consumables to servers, yeah thats horrible… Too bad there are no other ways of making gold in the game am I right? /s
