About time you came back, in YouTube time, you've been gone for 2 years. As a prot pally main myself of over 10 years, how is the class/spec doing now? Lots of other people in the beginning said they were weak, so what's your take?
Have you actually been able to get Knowledge Points from the NPC crafting orders? Even if it shows as a reward, I have yet to see a KP credited from the goodie box in the mail.
Great video! Thanks!
Ret aura should be just a personal aura giving the pally only the buff.
Yah R4 is not an issue to get at all (same caveat on AK… I'm kinda confused how the three sub-reps tie together there as an overall faction) . But there's plenty of sources along the way, the weekly dungeon thing let's you give a faction of choice a chunk, etc..
Gotta admit.. i m gonna miss the ret aura. As it always was handy as a dps boost when someone died.. as for pally buffs.. i would like to see BOM. BOK. BOW to return. Or a aura that gives you some heal while fighting.. i believe we had such a aura before in a previous expancion
Is there a way to request multiple items in crafting orders yet? Like 5 Draconic Treatise on Engineering with one order.
Maybe stackable items can ordered in multiple quantities?
I have no idea why people are complaining about login screen, when most people never even see it beyond maybe first login or some disconnect.
I just start game and remain in browser before switching tabs after few seconds it takes game to enter character select.
Knowledge Points are always the biggest pain point. Work orders aren't even close. But it's all peace. Have fun 😁
Paladins should get "Blessing of the Highlord" 5% stamina(Maybe something else as priests got this covered allrdy) for Self/Party/Raid. "Blessing of Tyr" 5% healing taken increased. "Blessing of the Avenger" 5% Strength/Int/Agy depending on spec.
One paladin can cast one buff and covers Self/Party/Raid. Does not stack ofc. ahhh one can dream.
Every class spec needs a raid buff I think, maybe make aura of kings as opposed to the old blessing system
Can you give some feedback on prot paladin? Especially since you're usually big on healing and it's really bad right now?
I have no interest in the log in screen, in barely see it before the character select screen. I have no personal problem with pathfinder but I feel bad for those who have a problem with or hate skyriding.
they removed ret aura so paly's wouldn't have 2, they're not going to replace it with anyhting.
as far as the title screen controversy, i'm not fretting about it. for all we know that screen will evolve and expand over the course of the Worldsoul Saga, and i suspect music will have that same evolution too, complete as a 10 min theme come Tle Last Titan. that being said, who really spends much time in Login mode anyway? personally i remember the days of Sindragosa bricking PCs and i'd prefer a minimalist loading screen over having to deal with that kind of issue again.
Where is World of Warcraft 2 why aren't the content creators talking about that?!
thank's for the info
Ret aura was a strange one. Pally had two raid buffs, so removing one makes some sense. Also, ret aura almost never procs unless you're in really difficult content, given its damage taken threshold.
The loading screen is perfect. Its a door or barrier with light shinning thru Azeroth, possibly like it’s going to break out. It is a mystery what is actually happening behind exactly like the voice calling out to Thrall and Anduin is a mystery. If most of the expansion is hidden underground it makes sense that the login screen represents something hidden behind, waiting to be discovered.
Like, they know what they are doing. Can we stop backseat artisting?
It’s also gorgeous.
Bro, stop with the log in screen. No one actually cares. I'm not watching any video from you that even shows it at this point.
oddly enough over all i don't like raid buffs, their kind of a barrier to people playing whatever they want because its fun instead of whats needed. but i also like that they make you stronger. one of the ideas that i liked in remix is all the buff pots and scrolls, but in retail that would make our bags even worse then they already are XD. so i don't really know what id do different
TLDR raid buffs in their current state are completely boring and unengaging.
After years of playing with passive buffs, I think the raid buffs we have in WoW are kind of meaningless. I know they give small bonuses but hear me out, they actually take power away from abilities you can actually see and feel. I like where they are going with Aug Evoker and lightsmith paladin, because buffs you give out should be an ability you press that actually make something happen. A 1% dmg bonus isnt very exciting or engaging, but wreathing your allies weapons and armor in flames or holy light definitely is. In warhammer online, not only did buffs make a big impact passively, they sometimes give an action button that gives you a powerful attack or a defensive spell you can use. Something like that could also be used to address every class having a dmg reduction CD, give the healers (like Paladin who has devotion aura) the power to give players that instead. Just a thought 🤷♂️
They really need to fix the anduin model… its one of the worst they have compared to the shield lady, alleria, jaina, thrall etc. im really hoping they are working on that because his face looks blocky
Was tired of hearing Alex roar on my screen when I forgot to close the client.
Great video, looking forward to your usual clear and concise videos on professions and other TWW content. Tyvm.
Has anyone made an addon yet that displays a clock next to recipes in the skill window? It would be nice to easily see what time the next max quality craft will be available for each recipe based on your current concentration
Algorithm squad here❤
I have no idea why they would be tripping on the load screen. Seriously. I think they just have nothing else to bitch about lol
Concentration used to be 1:1 with skill levels so it seems to have gone up to like a 1:1.7 ish ratio which still means we have more overall with the new max of 1000. Probably only about 150 – 180 more relative to before it changed.
As for grinds, There are no real mandatory grinds in wow anymore. With rep being optional mostly overall now and professions having been always optional since you can just buy what you need from others all the grinding is gone.
Personally I wish there was more weight behind reps but just allow people to smash them out as fast as they feel like it like the old days, and if you want to time gate quests… just time gate them.
Reputation should give you relevant gear, patterns. I personally think Blizzard needs to dial back gear progression a little. Instead of getting massive amounts of stats from 1 piece of gear we should be aiming to go back to the days when an upgrade was 5 or so stats per ilvl to create a slower power creep… This could be achieved by making gear defensive stats like stam and armor be more powerful. Something like having armor slow down all damage and the type determining how effective it is rather than things like plate just having more armor.
The log in screen is as irrelevant as possible. It literally just exists long enough to type a password in.
On professions, one major thing of note is that the profession knowledge items are way, way more common than in Dragonflight. Just flying around and picking herbs gives consistent skill ups on the beta.
So Shamans now have Lust AND a Raid Buff?
The log in screen usually has a nice animation going dor it and with the last one we got some great pics of the cat trying to catch the dragon as it swooped down
So on professions, instead of decreasing time required to do professions and reduce complexity so ALL players can participate, they add NPC orders to fix a system they created…. Classic politics… all just to make stuff people needed last month or never needed at all… and to benefit the influencers who can play all day vice those who choose to ‘balance’ their lives and limit play to just 10-12 hours a week to actually PVE/PVP/Outdoor content for 6 hours, 2hrs for M+, 1 hour to farm mats (way too many and way to complicated to actually determine profitability) and one hour to craft and post… so in order to compete with all day players, I know have to have one character for every two specializations, vice professions, due to point caps… final analysis, the prof dev team missed the blizzard meetings on simplifying processes and getting rid of hazing as a rule, all to increase WoW Token income and thus pay to play… how does beating me only half the time a good thing vice beating me all the time in Dragonflight… it’s time to stop the beatings of over regulation, this isn’t a revamp, it’s just a renaming of the same bad principles!
Otherwise, great video! Thanks!
