  1. Funnily enough, no. Considering to my memory, the only clause is against civilian targets. No one here is a civilian.

The bugs are all drones, they’re all bearing arms against a hostile force, they’re quite literally the definition of a combatant. Which means burning them and the holes they crawl out of is perfectly legal by our standards.

And that’s before we get into the zombie bugs that some folks have talked about.

Of course, SW has always played fast and loose with what we consider legal or not in war, but that doesn’t stop this from being one of the times where it’s actually fairly legal.

  2. There are 2 Conventions/Reformation in Star Wars that I know of.

Yavin Convention or the Yavin Code, This was held around 1019 BBY. This code which stated that prisoners were required to be blindfolded prior to being executed.

Ruusan Reformation, this was held on 1000 BBY. It's a event that restructured the entire Galactic Republic following the New Sith Wars, taking power away from the Supreme Chancellor and reinvesting it in the Galactic Senate.

  3. I will never understand this new wsr crime meme going on with clone wars. Cause yes in our work this is a war crime. But in a galaxy with possibly thousand of planets with different laws and ideals. All of whom are in a war for two sides. Unless all those planets got together and decided what rules they were using…. most of these are war crimes

  4. No because Star Wars takes place among time ago and since the first Star Wars movie here made was based of the nazis with Darth vader as hitler and the stormtroopers and the soldiers which was when flamethrowers were made illegal in our universe this takes place way before that so no there isn’t even a chance of this being a war crime on the clones or anybody’s part
