Series Description:

The Worldsoul Saga begins with the first entry into this trilogy, World of Warcraft: The War Within. I’ll be playing through this expansion as a Night Elf Warrior, last seen adventuring through the Battle for Azeroth. This series will include quests, dungeons, raids and anything else that is related to the story of The War Within.

Game Description:

Some see visions of resplendent light, while others are taunted with ominous warnings from the shadows. One thing is clear: something is coming, as a sinister threat rises from within Azeroth itself. World of Warcraft: The War Within is the first installment of the new Worldsoul Saga, an ambitious creative endeavor for the Warcraft universe. Deep beneath the surface, an ancient nerubian civilization is rising to power, aided by Xal’atath, the Harbinger of the Void first introduced in the Legion expansion. Players will need to enlist the aid of the Earthen, a new allied race available to both Horde and Alliance players, as they journey to the new level cap of 80 and make their way deeper and discover an entirely new world that has existed for centuries and whose denizens are preparing for conflicts that loom on the horizon.

    Magni: Dagran… lad… I'm concerned about you.
    Dagran: What's wrong, Gran'da?
    Magni: It does my heart good to see you so excited about this… but I'm concerned about your safety. You've got a good eye for solving problems, lad, but not for danger. You've got a brave heart, but you're reckless. Sometimes I think you're so distracted figuring things out that you leap before you look.
    Dagran: I'll be careful. And Grand'da… I'm also worried… about… you.
    Magni: Me? What do you mean?
    Dagran: You also seem… distracted. Sometimes you're angry. Like it hurts. Like it's all too much.
    Magni: Aye. I've had a burden to bear for too long. I just don't want you to get hurt, lad.
    Dagran: That's how adventures work sometimes, Gran'da. And not just in books. Tell ya what: I'll learn to be a bit more cautious. And you'll try to enjoy an adventure now and then.
    Magni: Aye, lad. I'll enjoy them even more when I'm with you. It's a deal.
