  1. I am really excited about Delves and they will probably be my main focus but I don't like that the hard delves will be probably imposible without raid gear, there's no need for that.

  2. No Myth track gear in Delves = Dead on Arrival. Casual players spend more time in the game than Mythic raid loggers, yet not allowed to have the power level of the latter. Extremely poor design choices for Delves.

  3. a nice side effect i realised whilst watching footage, is that delves will hopefully provide a simple training ground for players un-initiated into m+/raid with regards to learning game mechanics. learning to interrupt, the visualisation of certain spells and other mechanics of the nature. im sure as they naturally want to progress in difficulties by themselves, they'll learn in a meaningful way how to combat these using the tools in their characters kits, kinda similar to the MOP proving grounds in a way but more cemented into the game ๐Ÿ™‚

  4. Iโ€™m super interested to see how Delves work with patches and gear. Like will they add more levels with higher gear? Just adjust the numbers in each level? Will be interestingz

  5. I'm ultra casual never touched m+ or raided in the last 10 years but Delves also do nothing for me, they're just scenarios, they're not fun, scaling them up won't be fun for me

horrific visions, skara vaults and mage towers were enjoyable to different degrees, getting good gear means nothing, they're not enjoyable

  6. Locking content rewards behind another type of content entirely is just dumb, I really hope they change this by adding the keys to rares/elites in the delves. Just think about finishing the delve, seeing this huge treasure room and YOUR rewards from YOUR gameplay in the delve is locked behind world quests..

  7. Delves are an illusion they only give up to m+5 gear and they do NOT count toward your raider io score.

Delves are an illusion for the solo players to think they are working toward something when they really arnt.

  8. I am an introvert who hates group content. Delves and follower dungeons are HUGE deal for me. Lets hope Blizzard adds follower raids too, so I can experience the story without (literally) suffering through raid finder.

  9. They are missing the point by focusing on severely ramping difficulty, lockouts and keys to get loot. Just make them endlessly repeatable for Equal to or Less than Heroic Raid loot, the companion system/talents is perfect, the mount is perfect. No reason to get into the weeds until that is all implemented, and most of all, until they are all fun to do.

  10. I'm excited for delves, but am fairly annoyed about having to earn a key outside the delve itself. I don't have a lot of hours to play each week, and needing to grind WoW's worst content – daily quests and world bosses – to allow delves to deliver gear is frustrating. Just because I am a "midcore" player doesn't mean that I faceroll dailies all the time…

  11. As a casual player with serious social anxiety and PTSD I can enjoy this solo/group content alone or with friend of mine. I hated Chorghast for death timers/floor timers and sheer randomness of good/useless powers. Least with this I can sit back and just chug along at my own pace alone or with friend have some laughs and good time. Real life is stressful as it is don't want my WoW time to turn into second job or beholden to Guilds who doesn't understand or care about my anxiety/PTSD people like me excist and feel alienated forced into Guilds etc. I already do LFR alone/friend and with Devles if its done right not turnt into Chorghast will be another great way to get some decent gear etc.

  12. Michael please remember something doesn't have to be super hard to have fun this is for the casual audience players..also the key thing remember forbidden reach..it was like popular for 2weeks then it got stale..and yes you have to grind your brain to gather those keys .to get into the room to do the puzzles..it was tedious..

  13. So it seems like a different iteration of Torghast but better which is welcomed. Having something to break up the nonstop running from quest to quest to quest is going to feel nice looking forward to it

  14. I friggin loved Torghast, but I hate how it was mandatory for people who didnโ€™t like it. My only real complaint with DF was that the Torghast descendants were not nearly as fun as Torghast.

  15. i think delves (if done right) are gonna be a lot bigger in terms of participation than mythic+ and especially raiding. it might honestly become the main pillar of wow's endgame

  16. I killed the lich king back in wotlk why cant i just walk into a new place and feel powerful and just own it with mind puzzle for a challenge for a change

  17. I love follower dungeons, I wish they made the rewards exactly like an LFG. Or just get rid of LFG, since people would rather do a follower than a LFG. With follower dungeons, I don't have performance anxiety or worrying about a toxic piece of garbage ruining my mood.

  18. This is really interesting to me. My wife and I play togther and we don't have time to do raid finder and stuff like that that, hopefully keys wont be too hard to get and I hope we can get a full set of gear.

  19. ~5:30 We proposed these sorts of ideas in the blizzard forums already in vanilla.
    It's… baffling…
I checked out by the end of WotLK, and while I still occasionally look at WoW from afar, what the company has become and done, in parts also in the game, but mostly outside of it, just keeps me behind the horizon for that occasional nostalgic peak that only ever ends in a sigh. Same thing with Game Workshop and their stuff.

  20. Welcome to Path of Exile endgame.
    Just without the complexity.

This would have been fun in the olden days… enough opportunity for it there was. Could have done this easily with some labyrinthine crypts, especially with the Qiraji theme or past that with the Nerubians in Northrend, which were so completely wasted it hurts.
