  1. A updated Emerald Dream map has been datamined that will appear in Dragonflight in some way, now it looks the same as the map from that BfA questline where we went into the dream to clear the old god corruption but it has Dragonflight corners this time around. So im thinking it could be possible that we resurrect Ysera somehow but now she is bound to the Dream permanently, so she can not move again into the ''Waking Azeroth''. She would instead be tasked to protect the Dream from any future corruption for eternity. The seed would be used to make that happen, but in doing so the new world tree would not be able to be grown. And all of that combined would be the ''great sacrifice'' that would have had to take place.

  2. well Elune probably did the same for the Night Elfs as she did for Ysera It's just that the Arbiter was down when she sent the Night Elfs into the Shadowlands but she was working when Ysera was sent there. I don't hink Elune ever bypasses the Arbiter she simply bypasses the Kyrian (Possibly doing something to ensure she'd be sent to Ardenweald)

  3. There is a curious hole where the Ohn'ahran plains are, as far as we know the islands that are apart of the zone don't have much on it from people that explored them on alpha but it definitely feels like there is something that is supposed to go in that giant empty body of water right in the middle of the zone.

  4. Speculation: The new Tear of Elune merges with the Sword of Sargeras, using it's power to fuel the building of the new World Tree. The Night Elves already had a presence in Silithus before the sword. They also have a presence in Feralas, just north of Silithus. Additionally, the Tauren are also in that area, so if the factions go away, the Tauren could have a presence near the new world tree as well. Also, using the sword which has already pierced Azeroth would allow the World Tree easy access to the Heart of Azeroth. I dunno. Let me know what you think. I think it'd be cool if that happened and it also takes care of the Sword situation.

  5. Hold on Accolonn… Sin'dane the margrave of house of rituals says to Calia that Necromancy is necromancy is it used by light or any other form of magic …u can't say she wasn't resurrected not by necromancy, it was light performed necromancy, other wise she would not be undead light forged like but human and alive

  6. No idea if this is still canonical, but technically, Elune "injected" herself in a physical manner during War of The Ancients novels when she shielded Tyrande when she was captured by Xavius/Highborne aliies to the Legion. That would be the first time she did this, meaning Tyrande would have some important part to play in the milleniums to come.

  7. This is really stupid, any other afterlife can easily go out to the world of living, but for Ardenweald we need sacifice. inhabitants of. Bastion, Maldraxxus, Revendreth can safely enter the world of living, but characters from Ardenweald cannot do that. Blizz, just create a portal in the new world tree that leads to Ardenweald and through which Ysera will come out, easy. Night elves sacrificed too much in wow hisory, perhaps they deserve a nice ending for once.

  8. Nah, the great sacrifice is Tyrande going apeshit on the Horde to sacrifice them. That would fit Blizzards atrocious writing more ^^

On another note: the new model is probably just de-sexyfi-ing so she is more covered up like Alexstrasza. Would not put it past them to give her a new model despite not having her at all in DF just to make her appearance more modest ^^

  9. what if ysera becomes reborn within tyrande. the sacrifice being tyrande and letting ysera take over completely. this would be a good reason to not put ysera's new model in. as it would be the mix of tyrande and ysera. and an obviouse spoiler.

  10. Hey Al, i found something interesting i wanted to share. I did the "shards of insanity" quest last night (the raid quest). The boss at the end of the quest in karazan crypts said they will destroy or consume all of the dragonflight. It shook me lol

  11. Cool video again love it .
Now about the new world tree. As a Druid lover also Warlock (coolest class in the game) i`m fine with both possibilities. If they gonna go with replacing the old one in Teldrassil it would make sence lore wise, and maybe revamp the night elf`s starting zone to a new modern look witch i don`t think they will bother since u don`t spend much time in it and u move on.
If they put the tree in Dragon Isle`s that cool also and maybe more interesting and maybe Druids will have something to do at this new world tree (achievs and transmog rewards or new forms).

  12. Just random thoughts, but what if Ysera DOES return through the sacrifice of the Green Dragonflight. They dream yes, what if them dreaming is like one layer thats keeping Azeroth Asleep (also dreaming). So with their sacrifice it could be one step closer to Azeroth awakening as her dream would be weaker

  13. Also, what if:
    1. Ysera is brought back through the sacrifice of her flight.
    2. Green Dragonflight is severely weakened.
    3. The Emerald Dream is left defenseless.
    4. The nightmare takes over

  14. I hope Ohn ahran plains over time will shift its focus to the green dragons, the emerald dream and what is the price of maintaining the cycle. The emerald dream is clearly not omnipotent or the creation of a single titan watcher(Freya proably just strenghtened the link) , what does the people of the dream sacrifice in order to make life flourish?
On a gameplay perspective, the dream and a world tree should be massive, and build with dragon riding in mind, Ardenweald was kind of flat, I want the dream to have some deptht to it

  15. Elune tried to send the night elves to ardenweild but they ended up in the maw its explained in the shadowlands campaign. She was trying to save them and ardenweild in one swoop

  16. Thats not true…the Baroness from Maldraxxus literally says that Necromancy is necromancy…doesn't matter if its done with death magic or by the light…So Menethil was resurrected by necromancy…

  17. I think that your theory about the Dragonflights and their Aspects "fueling" each other's power is kinda wrong. Deathwing's obsidian dragonflight was not big in numbers, yet he was so powerful. And if u wanna have another example, since Deathwing had the dragon soul AND old god corruption at his back, look at Malygos. His dragonflight was completely wiped, yet canonically he was able to manifest a pocket reality inside the Nexus and he was nearly invincible in there. As for the Aspects, they dont have to be the same as they always were. Prime consorts of the former Aspect, or Firstborns of the Aspect's brood, can rise to power and become equevalent to their respectful Aspect. We see that With Kalecgos, who serves as the Azure Aspect since Malygos's death. And then there is Ysera's daughter, whose name i dont remember, but u do a questline where u help her inside the emerald dream to fight off the Seed of Nightmare. And she has replaced her mother as leader of the Emerald Dragonflight. What i am trying to say here, is that Ysera can come back to life and NOT be the Emerald Dragonflight Aspect. At least not until the Aspects regain their powers which i presume is the ultimate goal of the Dragonflight Expansion story.

  18. As for Elune, I would like to see her one more time. But like, manifesting in her real form this time. Maybe in the questline for the World Tree. There is no need for her to do much. Just to be there for the Elves and Ysera, to close this circle. Also, I dont believe that we will get a new World Tree until Dragonflight expansion ENDS, or at least, until the Aspects get back their former power. Because Teldrassil, as well as Nordrassil in Hyjal, were blessed by every Aspect back in the day. Without their blessings and part of their Lifeforce and power, it will just be a magic tree

  19. This is exactly why Gork and Mork, the gods of the Orks in 40k, are so perfect. We don't even know if they exist, technically, yet the Orks' belief in them is so strong, that random spots of what looks like divine intervention can be attributed to their gods or simply to incredible luck, and we'll never know which.

  20. "light or death, necromancy is necromancy" – margrave of the liches. Did not you listen? What if the many that became one is necromancy? isn't domination is a kind of necromancy? maybe necromancy of order?

  21. they said in the shadowlands callia WAS brough back by necromancy that it's the same death magic, void, light, it's just power, she was told them by the death master or whatever shes called… so youre idea is wrong, necromancy was used wit callia
