So far all dragons we have seen are quite… destructive. Would be cool to see two dragons fight!

Basically one dev just came to the office and said "let's destroy the world and see what happens"
Chris Mertz as Deathwing's voice, just legendary.
The raid was awful
its no secret that Wow is heavily influenced by the LOTR/hobbit films/books, there is alot of Eastereggs Ingame that hints at this. one of the reasons why i started playing wow was because i loved LOTR and wanted to make a blood elf Hunter A.k.A a legolas wanabe
Okay I was playing tank against the raid this guy was in. That was one of the most intense raids i have played.
Ah, the hype of Deathwing. He was supposed to be the super ultra mega final dragon boss. This trailer set the foundation of what everyone was to come and expect from the expansion, and it all ended with what is widely considered the worst end boss fight in WoW history. Such a dissapointment.
Absolutely fantastic trailer though, as always when it comes to Blizzard.
All good things had to be corrupted.
How can you watch this without cringing?
Maybe you could watch all Warcraft III cinematics…..?
"And all will burn beneath the shadow of my wings."
Goosebumps
Blizzard has the power to overcome Disney, Marvel and all of the others film companies if they tried hard enough.
Why did that zeppelin crash in the sky if Deathwing was destroying the ground?
So lore stuff.
This is Neltharian/ Deathwing. He's the aspect of earth, guardian. And was brainwashed by oldgods.
During war of ancient event. He was defeated and he escaped and being doing stuff behind scene for 10000 years.
He draw powers from oldgod Nzoth, and that power corrupt his body and already breaking him apart. Force him to use those armour to stay intact.
In Cataclysm, he awakened and cause those destructions ( actually game world redesigned during cataclysm cause this in lore). His ultimate goal in cataclysm is to cause hour of twilight, a point where all light in world extinguish, sun will be blocked forever. So that oldgods will be back in power again.
They really did try to sell the point of him being called "Death-wing."
Dropping likes for more video game trailer reactions!
The german Voice of Deathwing is better
You should watch the new video for the Battle For Ardenweald Cinematic – 9.1 Chains of Domination Shadowlands 😀
This cinematics Are All full 3D only. But when u got time i Will say u should see: "Warcraft" (the movie!!) its on Netflix RIGHT NOW. I just saw it yesterday and its amazing!!!!
– . I have always being a warcraft nerd and I always wanted to see this movie. Its a real movie with real human actors. See it, see it, see it!!!
Deathwing is always such an optimistic person.
The first word(s) in this trailer: "Pain. Agony."
The first word in "Day of the Dragon", the first book Deathwing is a part of: "War."
One of my favorite cenimatics gives me chills when he Flys and destroys iconic places
I like your analysis of this trailer. Subbed ❤️
The only thing tho – Cataclysm cinematic came before Hobit movie 🌚
Same thing with Wrath of the Lichking cinematic, and Game of Thrones trying to copy it 😆
Blizzard rules the cinematics world
Sick expansion,played it like a lunatic,the entire thing 👌🏽👌🏽👌🏽
They based the Hobbits Movie representation of smaug on this. smh my head
I still think Nefarian is one of the best villainous character in world of warcraft.
What is not show in this is the fact that this dragon has a human form and a dragon form. He was originally good and turned bad and was locked underground by the other Dragonkin.
If you've not seen this one then for me it is by far the best of all the cinematics. It was I believe the first and is the one that attracted the attention to millions of people when the game was first launched as "World of Warcraft" without an expansion sub-title that is added with each new expansion.
There will be an "Expansion Reveal on April 19, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. PDT / 18:00 CEST
500th comment
To add on the lore already shared – each of the Dragon Aspects embodied a control over certain concept – Alextrasza was the Life-Binder, Nozdormu was the Timeless-One etc. Before he took up the name of Deathwing, his name was Neltharion the Earth-Warder. As an aspect of the land itself, he became corrupted due to Old Gods that were imprisoned deep within the planet's core whose whispers he could hear. In the same vein, whenever he felt pain as the armor was being stitched onto him, the land itself was being destroyed.
A really cool thing about blizzard's trailers is that they're not just a presentation, what happens in the trailer is actual story before the expansion starts so what happens in the trailer is reflected on the actual game. One example is here in the Cataclysm cinematic: in the end when Deathwing close on the towers of Stormwind and they melt below them, when you're actually in game you see those towers melted by the claws. Also the dam in Loch Modan that's destroyed in the cinematic is also destroyed in game.
This has been happening since the Wrath of the Lich King trailer.
About the logos… I think the first appearance of the logo is more of a video game presentation. Logos are usually very prominent in games during splash screens. The second (more subdued) time is the actual “movie” one.
remember that massive ocean wave scene from 2012? almost identical to that statue standing with its arms open infront of that gigantic wave
its destructive power thanks to dragon soul is tearing him apart. its more of a cast than an armor
Despite being a year late, heres the lore of the dragon: if was somewhat known as a powerful and noble dragon, and turned mad by dark forces, narrating the entire cinematic you see his first real visual introduction.
sry for so late to comment… but I still want to say, you should get some knowledge from the background story. it may helps you to analyze the video…well just my thoughts…
17 min of non sense. 😂
10:00 well, it's an advertisement for a game. I don't think it's too much to show the logo twice in a context like this, and the audience certainly doesn't oppose it either.
I started playing wow ever since I saw the Cataclysm trailer and for me it's the best ever.
anyone remember when you're just casually chilling and then everything was on fire ?
"filmmaker" 😅
No offense but is this guy ai generated?
