The best stat for Fire Mages is haste. Other stats will vary a bit so I suggest you sim your character on raidbots. Below are sample stat weights to give you a general idea. Sim your own character to figure out yours:

EZ-Opener Macro:
#showtooltip Combustion
/cast Berserking(Racial)
/use Sinful Aspirant’s Badge of Ferocity
/castsequence reset=30 Combustion, Phoenix Flames, Pyroblast

To use this macro, pre-cast Fireball then mash the macro until you see Pyroblast fly.

Normal Combustion Macro:
#showtooltip Combustion
/cast Berserking(Racial)
/castsequence reset=30 Combustion, Pyroblast

Use this macro if you have a hotstreak already and want to Combust.Mash the macro until you see Pyroblast fly.

  4. Thanks for the guide! Clearly the best out there.

    I have a question tho cause im new to fire. When you are casting a fireball and waiting to the ball to actually hit the target im obv spamming fireball again to cast a new. IF i do get the Hot streak proc, should i stopcasting the fireball or should i continue and shoot both fire and a instant pyro ?

    Atm it feels like I getting of alot of fireballs aswell togheter with Pyroblasts outside of combust.

  16. Hey man TYSM for this video, I was kinda lost after the frost nerf And I have learned so much here !
    Also, I checked your UI to find the stack of Weak aura you have in the upper left part of the screen but it's not the same as the one in the video.
    Where can I find it please ?

  20. Hello, as new mage main in SL I was prepared to go full frost but fire looks like much fun, Thanks for amazing guide! Waiting for a frost and arcane one. Btw do you recommend to wait with crafting legendary for hc week untill we know which spec/item is the best?
