I just came back this expansion. I've never done timewalking and I got the mount like 2 weeks into the event. My buddy still hasn't gotten it and he's been grinding for years 😭
So my buddy and I have played together a looooong time now, and years back he got Invincible, not once, but TWICE within a q month. He used to gloat about having an extra Invincible in his bag. I finally got this mount and was so stoked to FINALLY have a rare mount he didn't have. He got it the next TW rotation… 😅
I remember I got it super early into the Timewalking stuff. I want to say I got it in the first or second rotation ever that it was in the game. People really did not like me for that one. Or the fact I got Invincible after only maybe thirty or so runs by mistake, I was farming the Music Roll in WoD.
HOWEVER, Ashes is a piece of shit. I had ran TK a couple hundred times over years to get it, farming different mog sets for myself and with friends. And it dropped after two runs on an ALT ACCOUNT NOT CONNECTED TO MY MAIN. So that fucking sucked.
Then I finally got it about a year and a half later on my main account.
It came from my 1st TWing dumgeon after a 7 year hiatus. I just laughed and clicked it. I see after my time away from the game there's no way i can win the mount off (20 year anniversary) even with nearly 400 mounts.
Got like 2 in 3 day span gave 1st to some golddigging heal and then i got one myself really easy to get just farm it on tbc classic and wod timewalking
I was sharing account by that time with my father and suddenly one day I just used the random mount button and… PoP! That fucking mount, my face was… You can imagine, and it's more funny when I asked my father and he said: I don't know, what mount you talking about? Don't remember looting anything
Got it randomly while leveling an alt. Genuinely forgot it existed until it dropped 😂. Kinda sucked too because it needs level 27 to use it and the alt was only 15 at the time 😂

While you can do literally infinite number of timewalking dungeons, if you do it right 4-6 boss kills in one hour, that means 96-144 bosses in a day, 672-1008 bosses in a week. Let's cut sleepy time (7 hours): 448-672 bosses in a week.

But u can farm it the whole day, while others are weekly 🙁

I got it, after aprox. 2000+ dungeons since it came into the game..
You only need to defeat the boss about 4000 times for it to drop
100 ÷ 0,025 = 4000
