  1. This is the worst patch of all time. I rememeber it like it was yesterday because not only did they say they cut a bunch of content for… a selfie camera; but then they went a step farther and added stuff they thought was funny like a grave in the garrison that says "Ray D. Tear" or Raid Tier and want you to take a picture near it for one of the achievements. They kept saying no guys its good or we eorked so hard on this. No, no you didn't. This was a slap in the face and nobody wanted it. I pray one day well get an expansion or patch of cut/removed/scrapped content. At least the voice chat patch back in the day nobody used was a tool some people *kind of asked for. Camera and Twitter intergration was not.

I pray every single person involved with 6.1 got in trouble. I don't get to go to work and produce nothing or arguably an entirely different product than what we sell. To give you an idea how how big a failure this patch was, the Twitter intergration is gone entirely, and the only people I know who actively use the camera are actively the worst at the game and/or are extremely annoying people to begin with.

Auchindoun raid died for these sins.

  2. I didn't mind the selfie camera in of itself, but it is a shame it came out during a pretty mid patch which was supposed to be a major content patch. Then WoD suffered from having so much cut content.

  3. However in BFA there was a nice mount you could get by taking a selfie with a specific rare spawn in the background. Most people tried to kill the rare thinking it dropped the mount but nuuuu, you had to indulge the rare creature's vanity to get the mount.

  4. Fun fact about that patch that gets left out,
Before the selfie camera patch and near the end of Pandaria expansion. They had released patches, updating the character models from 2004. That patch was the final race to get updated, the Bloodelfs. So the idea was to embrace the new models as well. But it was lost on most of the community

  5. Feel disapoitment is all WoW players do. Good thing developing this game must bring a lot of money, because if the devs were doing for the recognizing, they'd surely be suicidal. Buncha brats, I tell ya.

  6. It should be stated that, that patch 6.1 had this as a major feature. No new raid but selfies. Its a cool feature just disappointing to not get anything other than it new

  7. Patch 6.1 did just three things as "major patch:
It brought in the Selfie Camera
    It updated the belf models
    And it brought Twitter Integration.

Its not that people overlooked this. Its that people were in rage because something thats not even worth a major patch was introduced as such without anything additional. People expected a Shattrath raid or a new zone, instead they had to keep running Highmaul and Blackrock Foundry for another season

  8. All I remember is Turbo dominating 3v3, balance druids and hunters in 2v2. No new raid tier for 14 months and how quick rogues had become and how dangerous feral could be.
Then the first major update, a selfie camera. Worst xpac ever.
