Hello everyone! This is the Heroic Painsmith Raznal encounter from the Sanctum of Domination raid in Patch 9.1 of the Shadowlands expansion of World of Warcraft.
Okay, I’ll admit it – I am bad at mechanics sometimes. I was getting incredibly frustrated during this encounter, especially near the end, because I kept getting hit by spikes and other avoidable mechanics. After the raid I spoke with some people and realized that it’d be much easier to line up with the squares on the ground to avoid the spikes, instead of watching the blue line, but that didn’t help me here. The death near the end right as I started convoking was especially painful as that was a huge HPS loss. That being said, this can definitely be a pretty tricky fight, as the healing requirement is rather high and there is a lot of movement woven in. Thankfully my performance was good enough to defeat the boss, however, and I earned a 99 parse which is rank 40 out of 5,754 Resto Druids in the world at the time of this upload, despite my many mechanical and rotational mistakes.
