How I Would Fix World of Warcraft. Recently, Asmongold shared his three ideas on how he would “fix” WoW as a game. Or rather, additions / removals to World of Warcraft that he felt would improve the MMO overall. And in this video, Nixxiom is also here to make three suggestions to what he thinks could improve WoW tremendously as a game. From overhauling the early game to end game content, these three ideas build upon the ideas from the previous response video to Asmongold.

The lore needs some fixing imo
If you make your own video, I'd encourage you all to try and stick to three ideas as well! There's no wrong answers. Just what do you think would be a cool addition (or what would be good to remove) that would benefit World of Warcraft in the long run?
Also, I'd encourage anyone watching this to watch my response video to Asmongold's initial thoughts first. If you don't, you might be a bit confused why I'm not maybe addressing class changes, end game raiding, etc – I do all that in the first video. Anyway, enjoy!
I stopped playing wow halfway through Dragon Flight. Best thing I did, specially cos I can agree with the company and all the things they've done. Bust more importantly, I played the game since the start, I had my fun and I have good memories. NO king Rules forever. And even trying to play the old game, it will not be the same.
I really think the company should admit defeat, or at least start listening to players, but we all know nether of those things will ever happen.
I shared more thoughts on a stream I did on twitch. Got it saved as highlight, if any1 wanna listen to a random no1 share its 2 thoughts, and my official goodbye to the game.
Your idea sounds good😊
Reboot back to Wrath or Vanilla for me—not much else to say. I could go into detail, but a reboot resetting everything and giving everyone a classic version is all that's needed.
At this point the only thing to do with mainline WoW is reset the whole thing. Its so bloated and confusing. Even if you don't play for one expansion, you load into your trusty Orc Warrior and see Dragon and Fox furries running around. Ew.
Love your first idea. That's what Destiny 2 tried to do. They hid it in menus and didn't fully flesh it out though sadly. But I like the idea of these quick catch ups for people. Show some abilities and game mechanics, give them a bit more confidence as a player as well as simply understanding the world you just stepped foot in.
Christ, I hate lots of dialogue in WoW. I just want to play the game but have to endure so many mandatory cut scenes and dialogue, which completely put me off retail. So that first idea, if implemented like that, I'd hate.
I can definitely see your early game idea. If you come in with no idea of the story, then nothing makes any sense. The progression of narrative time from zone to zone can also be rather confusing, and if things are confusing, people are less inclined to go on (that was what happened to me with FF14, and I dropped it due to lack of time and lack of knowledge as to wtf was going on)
I think SWTOR did player housing really well with getting flats on different planets and then having larger baes as social spaces for guilds, which then prevents the isolation of the garrisons
I would like it if they focused on The World of Warcraft, like the old world. Update it from Cataclysm but give an option to explore Cata Zones if one wishes.
I thought the biggest problem with retail is that you can buy boosts to skip most of the levelling, which feels like I'm a smuck for levelling the normal way. I enjoy levelling but knowing that there's an easy way robs me of the joy of knowing I'm progressing.
All great ideas! The Chromie thing is genius. We'll done
