An interesting detail in Afterlives Maldraxxus might have slipped past you. Draka, while talking about her destiny and how she ended up in the Shadowlands talks about how the House of Eyes recruited her. There we see a scene where she is bypassing felguards of the Burning Legion and stealing some sort of a paper/map.
This in itself is incredibly interesting as to why is Maldraxxus infiltrating a Legion base but where it gets even more interesting is when you see that the felguard scene is the exact same copy/paste from the older Harbinger: Illidan from WoW Legion.
Now Blizzard did confirms that they reused that same shot on purpose which now brings us to a lot of speculations. First of why is Draka invading the Burning Legion and why is she infiltrating the same base that Illidan would later destroy during his demon hunter operations?

yes
As this is the exact same shot do you think this is also the exact same planet Illidan invaded, most likely a few years later? Also, I would like to thank Ridge.com for sponsoring and making this video possible. Use Code “DORON” for 10% off your order” and check out https://www.ridge.com/DORON
Hey Doron you should make a video where you talk about the Drust! They are very relevant in the Shadowlands so I thought that it would be a good idea to make a video about them. Keep up the great work Doron!
No
Hey, Doron! Can you make a videp about the Margraves of Maldraxxus? Specifically their powers, origins, and purpose?
It is very clearly not the same planet. It's a completely different base and place. The environment and terrain look nothing alike.
Illidan's planet was scorched with fell and inside was a Pilord's palace.
Draka's planet is lush and nice and inside is just a small room with a table and a map.
It just looks similar because Legion architecture is Legion architecture, of course it looks the same…
I mean. Why wouldn't the Legion team up with the forces of death to suit their own means. The Legion had a monopoly on their own death and seemed a lot stronger than the forces of the Shadowlands.
Many soldiers of Maldraxxus came from worlds that the Burning Legion destroyed. It is still nice to have some payback after receiving a second chance in life as beings of the Shadowlands.
Isn´t Fel fueld by Souls ?
Because if all sould go to the shadowlands, then it would make sense for the legion to invade the shadowlands because if they would have succeedet they would have had a massive power boost and we probably could have not defeated them
Maybe the legion has taken some of the afterlives dimensions that were not mentioned
I have deeper question.
Why Draka serves somebody in Maldraxxus?
I mean she was like very strong willed and served no one, but now she acts more like samurai…
Just a tought, but if im not mistaken, the dreadlords were created by Sire Drenathrius. He was in league with the Jailer for a long time, into which they could have already been undermining the other cosmic forces (AKA the legion), preparing soo for the Jailer's return. My point is, what is Margrava Akarek found out about this and got killed for it? I mean, didn't the House of Rituals and the House of Constructs betray Maldraxxus because of Kel'thuzad ( AKA another servant of the jailer)? Akarek is after all the Margrave of the House of Eyes, which basicly translates to Master spies. If there were anyone who would find out about this in the Shadowlands, it would be the Primus or him…
I can tell you in 5 seconds.
Lazy development 😊.
Just as an aside, I've had my carbon fiber Ridge wallet for nearly 2 1/2 years now believe and it still holding up. I got the version with the band instead of the clip. Solid product.
An architecture style used across the entire legion on all of their worlds and invasions but it's the same planet? Whaaat
i think legion dint try to destroy shadowlands at all but primus started to become aware of something (since even kel'thuzad called legion to the world for some reason in w3 and its not he actually serves them but know they serve his master without a clue)and he sent his spies to research mean while he is lost and following civilwar began in maldraxxus
So Primus is Sun Tzu after he got into Shadowlands?
Primus most likely discovered what is going and paid the price for it. Might have gone to confront Zo'vaal and got imprisoned himself now serving as a runecarver with no memories.
i misss the burning legion
To those people who say that the Legion has no business being in the Shadowlands and that it's lazy writing on Blizzard's part:
The Legion is a VAST powerhouse, even after the crushing defeat on Argus. The Legion's primary fuel source, energy source, and magic is Fel Magic, part of the Death Magic category. Souls are used by the Legion for a lot of things, most of them related to Fel. I would argue that, if this is pre Legion, Draka is taking the fight to some small watchtower the Legion has in Maldraxxas, who're paving the way for the coming of the Legion proper. If it's post Legion, Draka is sneaking through some bumblefuck Legion Remnant outpost undetected.
The Legion also not only has teleportation capabilities, but a VERY LARGE space fleet. It's clear that they'd have some forces there, even if by accident. Mainly grunts and such, nothing too fancy. After all, it's the realm of souls, who'd really fight back? That's why the Legion, while having a presence, isn't really seen at all.
I doubt Primus found anything about Lich King if the consensus that Runecarver is him is actually true
If illidan back down again on earth ,there is no chance in the hell jailor and he’s new lich king lackeys to stand up against illidan Just look at to the illidan achievement . I have only advice for warcraft influencers like you don’t make this character so big in the end you will force blizzard forget about characters like illidan and sargeras
Or sylvanas is working with malganis. Since she was chosen. Since her soul is in frostmoune just like arthas. And arthas cant be used anymore.
The Draka shot could be Draenor. And the Illidan shot could be Outland?
