  1. Hi, I used this method since I played wow years before, I just came back recently but I came into a problem, everything works fine with this method except the fonts in ShadowUnitFrame, my player, target, target's target etc frames does not use the same Fonts as other places, it is very werid, I found some of my old game screen shot and they were working just fine, I don't know what is happening.

It's just a small problem and I can totally live with it, just want to see if I can find a solution here.

    Thanks!

  2. This method is kind of a noob way to change fonts if you want them to be effective in all of your addons as well. Doing it so it can be used in addons (and will allow you to just keep adding fonts dynamically) requires a bit of code knowledge and a code editor. There are tutorials that help with this method as well.

  3. This is definitely not working for me in Dragonflight. The first time I login after following the instructions, everything works fine. As soon as I exit the game and come back in, WoW creates a .slug file "615960.slug" that seems to override the fonts. Not sure if you have any suggestions?

  4. Great video, for anyone with a slug problem:

1 – Make a backup of the FONT folder

2 – Delete whatever is inside the Font folder.

3 – Copy whatever is in the Fontx folder (the font of your choice)

4 – Paste in font folder

5 – Open the game, check if the font is right, reactivate the addons and be happy (here it worked).

PS: Dont put temp_ARIALN (just ARIALN)

  7. I just went through and had the same issue with the slug file thing appearing even after I deleted it. If you are like me and struggeling to find a solution, all I had to do was copy paste the fonts I had in the new folder into the auto generated font folder adn the new fonts overide the slug ones. Super simple just dont make the new folder, paste the fonts into the already existing one

  8. Thanks for this. My lazy arse has been using ElvUI for so many years. Recently switched back to a stock ui, this is a game changer. Makes my UI feel so much more cohesive. Thanks.
