HOW TO CREATE YOUR FIRST LEGENDARY in WoW Shadowlands
In this WoW Shadowlands video I will be showing you how to craft / create your very first legendary and how the whole system works such as how to get soul ash, how to get the base legendary item, how to get a legendary in shadowlands and how to get missives.
Within the Adventure Guide there is a list of all of the Shadowlands legendaries for every class and spec. This will show you the source of the legendary and what slot this can be applied too. Can you put a legendary on any slot? The answer is no and the guide will help.
The next item is the base armour type or item. You will need either a plate, leather, cloth, mail, neck or ring base legendary item. These can be made from blacksmithing, leatherworking, tailoring and jewelcrafting. You can find these base items on the AH or from a friend.
The next item you will need is a missive and these are created from the Inscription profession. There are four missives and these are Missive of Haste, Missive of Mastery, Missive of Critical Strike and Missive of Versatility.
The final item is Soul Ash and you will get this from running Torghast layers. The best way to get / farm Soul Ash is from doing the highest layer of Torghast. You will need the following amount of Soul Ash to create these legendaries.
Rank 1 requires 1250 Soul Ash
Rank 2 requires 2000 Soul Ash
Rank 3 requires 3200 Soul Ash
Rank 4 requires 5150 Soul Ash
You can upgrade your legendary as well with the following amount of Soul Ash
Rank 1 requires 1250 Soul Ash
Rank 1 to 2 requires 750 Soul Ash
Rank 2 to 3 requires 1200 Soul Ash
Rank 3 to 4 requires 1950 Soul Ash

hey bro ive done everything u did and after i restored the memory of my legendary power to craft it my base item umbra waistguard dissapaeared alongst it now its in my adventure guide but the runecarver is telling me to go and get another base item is that normal since that didnt happen 2 u ?
I only did one torgast last week (up to level3) i am 30soul ash short of the legendary item and im wondering if there is any way to acquire those remaining soul ashes? I have completed both of this weeks torgasts
