The Bound Shadehound is a new mount that was added with patch 9.0.5. Not only is it an easy mount to get but it also works in the Maw! In order to get this mount you need 3,500 Stygia, appreciative reputation with Ve’nari, and time! No skill or luck needed.

  1. The extra action button doesnt show up for me. Also note though: for some reason I have Kleia following me in Perdition Hold and my extra action button is already some sword

  2. Dude you seriously think this is easier than layer 8 mount? Get a decent group and you can blast through it faster than it will take to get all that rep and Stiyg or however the heck you spell it.

  3. I know it’s said in the video, but just to reiterate – on the first puzzle with the 6 pillars… click two of them at a time to swap their positions to get them listed in the correct order.. do NOT click them sequentially (1-6) as it will lock you out.

  4. So in order to get a mount for questing for stygia in the maw and upgrading rep with Venari, you need to have max rep with Venari and a few thousand stygia. Makes sense.

  5. Me with corrido creeper mount: Yawn.

Edit: Also easiest ? You need max rep with Venari and then hours of grind… I am sorry but i respectfuly disagree… I did the 8 layers of Thorgast in 1 week doing 1 layer each day. You can't get exalted with Venari in 1 week….

  6. Worst time gating by blizz yet. "Let's not even let players ride ground mounts in the maw until they grind something ridiculous." They could do a lot to alleviate player frustration by making zones larger rather than small zones with no use of your hard earned mounts. I'll wait til 9.1 and get the maw mounts quicker if I still play Shadowlands.
