  1. The beginning explaination of WoW Log and how to compare damage was completely useless. I'm not sure if this was a live stream that came on youtube but if you're going to make a claim about explaining dps then actually explain please.

  2. 1. Pick a spec that hasn’t been nerfed into oblivion.
    2. Level said spec.
    3. Pay attention during step 2 to learn how to play your spec effectively.
    4. Play said spec till Blizz nerfs it into oblivion.
    5. Start again at step 1.

  3. Use the hekili rotation add-on in addition to your brain after reviewing a wowhead class guide and you’ll be better than the average player even on a new character. Once you are comfortable with rotation and mechanics, try playing without the add on.

  4. Its even easier to find comparable players that perform better than yourself. Just go to "Compare" on the top right hand side in your parse, "Select a Player" drop down select yourself, keep the rest by default (basically filters all parses for those that are within your kill time/raid size etc) and press "search". You now get a list of the top parses relative to these criteria and compare directly to your own performance.
