Question about the always casting as a spriest. When we have to move a longer stretch (a few globals). What do you cast other than death? Do you clip a DP? I find myself often just casting a random shield on myself which doesnt pewpew 🙁
Do you use any of the tools in the shadow priest discord, analyzer, etc. to recap boss encounters? Would be cool to get your take on a few and how you’d fix wacky rotations.
People are REALLY bad at ABC's. Specially Apoc.
Casting during movement is definitely something I could improve on. Sometimes I do well, other times not.
Hodir is one fight I'm incredibly swingy on, but even when the movement isn't quite as chaotic I tend to lose sight of good movement principles.
That'll be the thing I work on tonight during 25m.

Hey Pants – Can you tell us what soundfile you used for the mindflay ticks? And a second question: every tick that gets played as a sound by gnosis is a tick that got through and dealt dmg, right?
Thanks so much for a great video – I am going to try and implement these 5 tips tonight in TOGC. I had a question about how casting DP as a movement spell looks in the Shadow Priest analyzer. Does it just look like a series of 1/9 in rapid succession?

Something I think really needs to be included in every DPS 101 when talking about ABC is how to verify you are queueing your spells properly and how to adjust your play or queue window to fix it. And that is by showing how to go into a log -> Character -> Casts -> Timeline and check for consistent gaps between casts. I've talked to new caster recruits about their queue problems and every one of them always thought they were ABCing correctly and obviously had no clue how to check on wcl.
Honestly it's a consistent blind spot for shadow priests on the discord as they get too focused on mind flay clips and don't check a person's delays after VT/DP/MB
