As a T1 tank, pugging might be the one aspect of the game you have no experience with.
I don’t know man, having a list of classes to play doesn’t help much, just ran an 8 with a tank that didn’t use shield block and ignore pain, I was just pumping heals into him, while I let him know he should be using them 100%(was ignored) we proceeded and he was one shot at first boss. I left the key instantly and wished then good luck, needless to say I’ve seen more tanks try to tank this season with absolutely no clue what they are doing and be over 2k io with 620+ gear.
Yoda's points are all good but unfortunately the state of pugging is Blizzard's fault. He is just giving tips on navigating a broken system. Even when you do everything he lists, pugging still sucks ass in high end m+ and will not change without large systemic overhauls from Blizz.
Getting into groups on my 2725 disc priest is much easier than my 2725 pres evoker which I find really odd since the evoker brings good healing and a ton of utility. Far more than the disc. /shrug
As boomy I cant get invited to +12 with decent group unless I have already done it before 🙂
The conversation should end at ''reroll to find groups quicker''. As a Havoc DH, on 2800 rio and completed keys at +12 I have HARD time to find groups and get declined even on +10
Frustrating and shouldn't be norm. Blizz should find a way to end ''meta'' classes, perhaps on a random qeue that has raider io + ilvl parameters and u cant pick who u want?

635 Assassin – Always top dps, always the last guy standing when everyone dies. Yet there is more day when I can't make a single io score then days when when i can. I play 5 hours at least every day, usually more. LFG is tragic, never been worse, you just can't beat it without making a group wich is at that point isn't lfg anymore…

Wish I could just queue up as whatever spec I wanted. 12 and up, sure, make me play meta. Not being able to find tanks at a 2, 4, or 6 is insane.

Hey Yoda this is guys, we are done with this shitty annoying game and we are not paying subs for hours of queues anymore. We playing other games like path of exile 2 and would love to see u making content of that. Trust me its a masterpiece. And just wanted to say u are a gift and caring content creator so would be nice if u do that❤
I don’t think playing meta dps even matters until very high keys. 10-12s I usually only see people overgeared and overscored for the keys get invite, kind of regardless of specs.
Networking and making premade is not really pugging/lfg at that point. So in the end this video isn’t how to solve lfg, it’s how to avoid it as quickly as possible.
I would gladly do 4/8 mythic if the game would give me my spymaster. Ive been saving slots for this whack trinket since week 1

Nothing you said wasn't already the obvious thing to do, which they tell you everywhere. Add people after the run, reroll to fotm specs, get out of lfg as fast as possible. Most of us who are pugging just want to play the game without having to go through the whole social interaction part of it, while still progressing your character (in b4 idiots start replying, 'OMG IT'S A MMORPG'). It's 2024, we're not the happy social kids we were back in 2008, sure some if you still are but I'm talking about the majority. You're also not really in a position to say you pugged on your alts when all of your chars are showing 3640 io main score when you queue for something. Ofc you're going to get invited, people will check who you are with that high score and just inv you.
Just fix m+ , make m+ solo q or make life easier for tanks and healers , so people who make keys find actual tanks or and healers , that way everyone get to experience m+ endgame , split the community , makem+ solo q max key to +7 , so people don't farm max crests and that way you get geared and can go to manual key , where the raider io ladder matter , like something , blizzard know what to do , what are they doing rn ? waiting for us to give suggestions always ? they run out of bs to fix ? this is a joke , never seen a big mmo company waiting for people to tell them what to do , thats crazy.
The only true and real advice is to play the most common god comp and nothing else, do not play rogue, do not play mage. If you want to be invited to keys you play Prot pal, Disc, Aug, DK or enhance, nothing else.
You don't know anything about PUG's. You've been playing all this time with the top DPS players of your region. The PUGS will destroy you.
Maybe a “hot take” but if you’re any type of serious about keys you should be trying to get out of full pugging in the LFG with no comms. You aren’t going to just log on, slam a few quick 15’s with no comms with random people on a Thursday night. Pugging/LFG is totally fine for keys in the 10-13 ish range.
Sadly the only thing that is viable on this list is the reroll part. Everything else is not wrong ofc but it will not change the fact youll have to sit in q for 1h+ most evenings to even hope to play the game.
LFG is for pugs yet you talk about things that only matter in 12+ premade group. Like "Be willing to take on jobs" what do you mean jobs lol

Thanks Yoda. Just a suggestion, it would be a lot of fun watching you do a "Zero to Hero" series with an off meta tank or dps.
I heal and my mate tanks so all we look for is dps so when im setting up the group, im looking to cover brez and hero first then mostly its by experience. I will take some off meta specs if they are experienced. I mean i have some specs i prefer, like ret pallies and a warlock. I find shammies have this magical ability to forget they have hero so im not super fond of them. Edit: i will take a dps who cc's and interrupts over anyone. Key frustration

I'm a 3200 PPala, can't find a group for 15 key in LFG (timed all 14 and few 15s) because there are no 15s in LFG lol
wow has become waaaay too hard for 90% or even more of the active m+ players, it has never been so obvious that score and ilevel means absolutly nothing, for tanks 3k score means 2k score and for healers the same, since they get invited everywhere. also lust dps are inflated in a similar way. this game is way to hard for the avarage skill ppl bring, and no one is talking about it.
1. Play Prot Paladin
2. Don’t actually use LFG
3. Get good
