  1. I have grown tired of the constant chronology retcons it has become sickening. Nothing is consistent or utilized rightly with those writers and I especially grown tired of the constant cosmology rapid changes and the whole timelines function. Those were just dumb and made no absolute good sense. I have no faith in these incompetent writers anymore. They had their chance. But I am done with them.

They want to retcon everything ten thousand times? Well then I am done with them especially with how they treated characters overtime, my patience is done.

  2. with all due respect but the main problem with wow is not the lore, we blame our frustration and boredom on the lore…..in reality it's the gameplay that has changed, the epic music, the exploration of azeroth, finally dropping an item after a lot of effort… currently I see a very simplified children's game, people find this boring and don't play anymore. But then he sees season of discovery as the real novelty, the true soul of wow, modified with simple additions but still wow remains, and then everyone starts playing SOD.

  4. Something I'd not connected until you mentioned it in a video a week or two back, was the idea of the Tauren's Earth Mother being Azeroth – is that actually explained anywhere? Or is it just a drawn conclusion?

  5. Small but poignant detail, Aegwynn did not defeat Sargeras, but his avatar. A very small manifestation of his power, on Azeroth. Otherwise it infers that Aegwynn could have taken down the fallen titan singlehandedly.

  6. What if the last titan isn't Azeroth! They say we must rebuild…not we must defend…perhaps they are siphoning her energy to creat something..Maybe Azeroth is way stronger than the titan so her power creat the body FOR the final titan..
After that the only thing is needed just a soul infused with order..

  7. He says DO NOT FORGET the way that a programmer would make a note in their code to not forget something to fix later. THEY KNEW what we were heading towards all along the only problem was how to get there in a meaningful way that would be fulfilling to players

  8. This was a nice recap of the lore of Azeroth, and how this world has grown and evolved over the years. From the original name of the kingdom currently known as Stormwind, to the very center of the universe every seat at the high table wants. There's even conflict within each seat.

  9. Great vid! I think I like Pyro and his communities theory about the jailer, that the Primus was basically puppeting the Jailer to take the fall. Everything seemed pretty conveniently laid out for us to carve a path to the Primus. Imagine being bested and controlled by the type of magic you made!? And then he ends up making a new crown, something stronger than Domination.

  10. Void Lords don't make plans. They use the Spaghetti Noodle method. They throw a whole bunch of old god seeds out into the universe and wait to see which ones stick.

Blizzard had a chance to write an original villain in Shadowlands. Instead what we got is a pasty version of Right Said Fred.

Life, Death and Order. The perfect trinity. Any other combo leads to a hellscape.

  11. I think we are only thinking one dimensional. I believe the War Within is more tham just about azeroth. Also about anduin war within himself. The different races going from warring endlessly with each other to trying to be mote accepting etc… It is about the war within all of them. What ife the hand that grabbed anduin in the cinematic was arthas and not varian? What if he found out that was his actual father due to being control and having arthas fragment there with him. Now everything he kmew was flipped upside down

  12. I’ve played WoW since 2007. I don’t know any lore… Ive skipped every single quest and cut scene for 16 years.
The lore is in my imagination. Merc for hire. I go back to my garrison to this day. My alts and guild mates (when I’m in a guild ) are the other characters. The nonsense real, lore of the game doesn’t interest me or engage me at all. My imagination does.

  13. Tbh I don't really like all the attack on the dignity of the titans and the concept of order in the game. I mean yea a titan peon tried to kill us in Ulduar but they helped us in our fight against Argus and even made sure to bring us back to life after he killed us all. And after the fight they actually sacrificed themselves in order of keeping us and the world safe from Sargeras. I know we need more bosses to fight but in a cosmos where the void still exist I don't really see a reason to fight order which was pretty nice to us until DF lore came.

  14. Going through a lot of this in order of release is a fun perspective. Going through the wiki you'd mostly just encounter it in story order, which is much, MUCH different. Not even mentioning all the time travel…
