Is There a CONNECTION Between The SHADOWLANDS and the WORLD TREES?

Ardenweald in World of Warcraft Shadowlands is the zone mostly linked it feels to Warcraft and World of Warcraft Azeroth. So why then does this WoW Shadowlands zone seemingly need the Azeroth World Trees in order to keep Zovaal locked inside the Shadowlands Maw?

  1. The trees are sure to say a connection to Ardenwaeld but Im almost sure that they also have a connection to the Lifelands or the Dream if thats the equivalent to the Shadowlands. I strongly belive that every Force have their own realm and Ardenwaeld cant be the answer for that.

  2. Immersius and nourushen boss fights in SOO have the jailers runes in the area around them. Has this been discussed before? I'm sure there's a connection between the jailer and azeroth at this point

  3. In the Emerald Dream, Azeroth is still 1 continent. I would love to see what it looked like before the explosion of the well of eternity. Would be a great expansion. That would be like Starting a whole new world, not just a continent.

  4. "Almost completely gone, as if it never existed. But the rift is deep and vast, and somewhere down there it stirs. Something has changed, the last prison weakens. We must prepare."

That could confirm your theory on the Rift of Aln being a link to the Maw. What if it was The Jailer's way to send souls back through to Azeroth after they were formatted and given another chance at life. And it got closed off to prevent whatever Void Lord that attacked the Maw to arrive on Azeroth through the Emerald Dream. Maybe the last prison Xal'atath was talking about wasn't about N'zoth's or Zovaal's but the great evil trapped in Torghast. And the Jailer needs as much power as he can get to prepare for its escape. Perhaps Zovaal saying "death comes for the soul of your world" was not meant as a threat to conquer it, but a promise to defend it because he knows Torghast won't hold that Void Lord forever.

  5. Could be that the whispers are designed to be misleading and sew mistrust between the people you trust so dearly (obviously not for gameplay but more in game story) and not actually to be trusted in the first place…?

  6. Wait, isn't Sylvana reborn before Deathwing? When she impaled herself then resurrected by that valkeris you told earlier that was before LK and Cata, right? Maybe she influenced the madness of Deathwing through the Old God or bypassing him… just an idea

  7. What if the arbiter is some representation of azeroth? Her color scheme seem to allude to that of azurite (the blood of azeroth). How can she judge who goes into the maw? If and only if Azeroth generates all souls, wouldn't she recognize her handy work or a lack thereof? What if the souls go to maw because they are void touched/concentrated ("not of azeroth").

  8. Acc here is something food for thought … during the events of Warcraft we see Illidan give into the powers of the fel for the greater good of the planet and everyone was against his for it flash forward to Bfa and Tyrande has given into the dark powers of Elune could we see be seeing the making of the New first ones with Illidan being to leader of Disorder and Tyrande being the leader for life, just a thought but it does seem rather interesting that Tyrande basically was done with illidan when he accepted the power of the fel yet its almost the complete opposite with tyrande even tho both obtained the power for the betterment of their people and the world

  9. Maybe "they need the jailor free so that "they" can anchor a void lord to it so that it can physically manifest within azeroth, if a VL had a solid anchor in the shadowlands wouldn't it be able to overcome the immense energy requirements in order to fully manifest?? The old gods already started but realized they didn't have enough power to fully manifest a VL but if they were able to enter the shadowlands and release the jailor they could then anchor to that power and manifest??? not sure if this has been covered at all but it seems like there are multiple planes pulling power from each other and that could be a potential outcome.

  10. The world trees are basically “dream catchers.” What if the druids sleeping in the dream are unknowingly giving some of their anima to the trees while they DREAM! And the connection to the trees while they sleep is where some of the anima comes from. That’s also why the night elves were originally immortal. Most of them slept (the druids), and were an everlasting anima batteries. Shaving a bit of anima off the top of their souls while they slept and walked the emerald dream.

  11. I don't know bro if you talked about it but notice that when Arthas kills Uther it divides his soul into light and blue soul. I noticed that Maw and Anderwild and the reigning anima Anderwild there are blue and Maw by the sword also but now it's black all the characters in Maw are black, I think Jailer and his other brothers and sisters had such power that they could easily defeat the remnants of the space forces , and the principle of war is simple, if you cannot defeat someone, join him, so the Light, Life and Order created Bastion and Anderwild from which everyone can return after death, people who came to Maldraxus protect the whole realm and their anima is green, at least they should, but it lost the target, Revendreth gets the power of emotions or something related to anima and this is red, and now my question is if Jailer and Arbiter GET blue anime and in Maw NOW more blackness then why Jailer is not like the rest in Maw, notice that in Maw, as Acolon said, you can see that there are destroyed buildings in it and here I shoot it possible that it is right, a wave of souls frozen in the ice, I think it happens when y is tearing the soul and that there are still thousands of flowing through this river, and there is a reason in Anderwild there is the Winter Queen, the conflict began when Chaos and Shadow joined Szadowlands Jailer agreed and the other side did not like it, note one thing that the light entered Nature has access to Revendreth between Reality and the Shadowlands, and Death has no access to the emerald dream. It is interesting that death in Reality is plagued on all sides, especially by Nature and Light. I'm not good at writing, if there are any mistakes, I'm sorry.

  12. There’s a portal in the Dreamway currently that doesn’t take you anywhere/ is just there visually. I wonder where they meant for this portal to take you. I haven’t finished the video I’m sure it’s mentioned oop

  14. What if the anima in Ardenweald is linked to the World Trees? My new theory is that the drought has nothing to do with the machine of death breaking. But 100% to do with world trees continuously being destroyed or corrupted. Sylvanas might've had a primary reason to burn Teldrassil, to make them realize that Elune doesn't care. BUT it also weakens the chains of the Jailer

A world tree was also linked to the High Elf immortality… and we grew anima fruit to preserve the withered. The Nightmare raid. Shadowlands is heavily connected to Legion in more ways than we realized.

  15. !!! " ELUNE " !!!
After observing the cosmology map, we have been told to try to see bigger picture, what if the each corner of the map (the discs) represents the 4 realms of shadowlands, with Arden. being obviously on the up left corner, connected with the roots with the dream and reality. Also its the only symbol with 6-point star, it could explain the term ´´up start goddes´´ meaning Elune. (there is also a moon symbol in the middle).
