It’s really nice getting to see Derek Duke compose tracks for WoW again. But I do wish he composed more themes for this patch though tbh. Hopefully we’ll see more of his work in 9.2 😮

Not gonna lie, with all the stuff going on with Blizzard, it really killed my enthusiasm for making WoW vids. But despite how shitty the company is, I still believe in supporting these talented composers and their music so I'm still gonna try my best to support their work. Will hopefully be able to finish up these 9.1 vids and then move on to 9.2 when that gets around.

My favorite tracks are "Korthia City of Secrets C" at 4:13, and "Korthia Lost Archives B" at 12:12. Glenn Stafford really nailed the melancholy feel of Korthia with these tracks. Definitely reminds me of the stuff he composed for Argus too 😮
I really love the music in Korthia. It's chill and atmospheric, reminds me of the TBC soundtrack.
I really liked the ambient/atmospheric stuff Derek had going on here, always loved his stuff in WoW, actually kinda expecting him to do something for Zereth Mortis, it just seems like a zone he and Glenn would make music for. Though i'm not excited for 9.2 gameplay wise, like at all, i'm extremely hyped for the music. I can't wait to hear the Zereth Mortis and Sepulcher of the First Ones raid music, they even got a room with that Maw Constellar Algalon guy in the raid so i'm guessing they might go for some Ulduar kinda music there. Also, since a small patch like 9.1 got almost 3 hours of music, i'm expecting even more in 9.2.
Also, i HOPE Blizzard gets their shit together because it just feels like i'm reading more and more shitty things about the company every week.. like, they really need to fix all this, because i'm not resubbing to this game until they do. Well, i'm probably not gonna resub any time soon anyways because the game is just boring and bland as hell.
You're back!!! I've definitely missed your WoW updates, but I don't blame you since all that's happened there. Hopefully 9.2 will also look better for the game.
It's understandable that you've felt that way about making WoW content, however it is ALWAYS good getting to hear the composer's masterpieces through the Yodragon format!
