Lady Inerva Darkvein Normal and Lady Inerva Darkvein Heroic guide! Lady Inerva Darkvein is a raid boss in the Castle Nathria raid of Shadowlands.
Stick Figure Raider Merch because sure why not https://teespring.com/stores/hazelnuttygames
This Lady Inerva Darkvein boss guide will show you the Lady Inerva Darkvein abilities that you’ll see in the Normal, Heroic and LFR versions of the Lady Inerva Darkvein fight. Mythic Lady Inerva Darkvein has additional mechanics not shown in this Normal and Heroic Lady Inerva Darkvein guide. Footage of Lady Inerva Darkvein for this boss guide is from PTR raid testing and some mechanics may look different or change when the Castle Nathria raid releases on live servers starting December 8th.
The key to Lady Inerva Darkvein is to stay on top of emptying Anima Containers without totally overwhelming the healers with raid damage. As the various jars get past 33 and 66% Anima, more modifications will be unlocked for their respective ability.
Tank Jar (officially the Container of Desire) is connected to the Warped Desires tank debuff. Swap on two stacks, or more if you can deal. The first upgrade makes additional raiders take connected damage to the tank, and the second upgrade adds an explosion when the Warped Desires tank debuff expires.
Soak Jar (officially the Container of Bottled Anima) is connected to the Bottled Anima soak mechanic. One player needs to soak each ring to prevent raid damage. The first upgrade makes the soak spots leave pools, which is unavoidable and you can’t place them. The second upgrade makes the soaks bounce, requiring two consecutive soaks. There’s no way to aim them.
Orb Jar (officially the Container of Sin) is connected to the Sins and Suffering orb threading mechanic. The three players connected by Suffering beams need to thread them through every Sin orb at once to make them despawn. Other players should avoid the beams. The first upgrade connects the Sin orbs with damaging beams of their own, and the second upgrade makes the Sin beams rotate.
Add Jar (officially the Container of Concentrated Anima) is connected to the Concentrated Anima adds. Players targeted with the DoT should move near melee but not on top of players for their explosions. Stationary adds will spawn, the large one needs to be tanked and has a swap worthy debuff. Interrupt and kill the smaller adds, kill the larger one. The first upgrade makes targets of the DoT rooted, so they should remain near melee at all times unless soaking. The second upgrade causes shadow fragments to fly out from the DoT targets on expiration, which the raid needs to dodge.

Does she cycle through the jars mechanics? Or are they thrown in at random instances?
this seems complicated
Well this boss has 50 mechanics xD
Thanks Hazel
"classic is harder than modern wow" or "modern wow is too easy compared to classic wow".
show them these raid fight tactics and see if they say the same!
Can you please talk a bit slower? At the begin you talk regularly, but certain moments after the encounters get further you talk so fast which is nearly impossible to understand a word. We are not all from US.
thanks for these guides they're great!
Okay, my progress won't be 10/10 but 9/10 😀
after wiping 12 times on this boss today, I can proudly say the fight is easy on Normal. but some people singled celled organisms make it unreasonably hard by fucking up the orb or soak mechanic
Morons can't fucking soak the orbs lol.
23 wipes and we can't still beat her
honestly i dont understand why there needs to be so many mechanics in raids now a days. this can be a cluster fuck just in normal mode, and then you have hc and mythic above that.
imo normal mode should be way more pug friendly and leave hc and mythic for the hardcore players.
i miss the old days ( wotlk comes to mind ) where bosses didn't have a huge list of mechanics to study
How on Earth you get that to 5 stacks? 1:10 XXXX
it deals like 10k each second of SHADOW damage. Jee, prot warriors suffer, you better bring DK or DH bc all the armor in the world won't save ya
This a great a easy understanding of the raid mechanics. This really helps in planing with raid groups once you’ve done it a few times thank you.
U named all of jar jar's siblings.
This is why I prefer M+ over raids, previously it was just don't stand in fire, now it's a shit tone of frustrating logic
So lemme get this straight
This boss has more mechanics than like anything, but if you're doing it right you shouldn't experience like 2/3 of them?
my guild doing this in 4 tries is such a flex after seeing these comments xD
TANK BOY NOOOO
This is dumb…not looking forward to it
"jar lady" haha xD
Best boss guides!
But what about Jar-Jar?
Please try and speak slower. I like your videos for their simplicity, don't become like fatboss.
Jar Lady made me think of things I would rather have forgotten.
Your reference was not lost, Hazel.
Didn't mention needing to catch the vials thrown out
Tanking this as a blood DK this weekend in LFR 🩸💀⚔️ Wish me luck 🌞
What that addon you have for players at the side. I can't find it lol
Dont mind me just watching all these and leaving likes for the amazing help they bring. Thank you
Wanna thank you for the videos Hazel, my guild had our first raid last night and went 5/10, including a 1 shot of Kael Thas using your tactics 🙂
Hi Hazel! One of my problems with your guides is that when you display the Adventure Guide tip message box, I need to pause the YouTube video to read it, which causes the YouTube interface to obscure the Adventure Guide tip message box that you're showing while the video is paused. If it was possible to bump the message box up just an inch or two over YouTube's video player progress bar, I would be able to actually read what you're kindly displaying. So I guess this is more of a criticism of YouTube's unintelligent design rather than your guides. It would be better if the video progress bar appeared as a very thin line on the very bottom, rather than through the lower section of the video. YouTube even does this while the video is not full screen, which is just ridiculous – show the YouTube interface beside the video if it's not fullscreen, not on top of it. Get your shit together Youtube, it's been 16 years now.
Your voice is annoying…
I like the word spigot.
It's good to have interesting mechanics but this is just ridiculous.
I love the drawings
The dungeon journal does an awful job explaining this to players. In LFR, most of the mechanics are pretty mitigable, but the beams/orbs is so confusing
Stop saying nermal.
blablabla talk faster …
The best guide ever!
oh boy, i cant wait to start tanking this fight
I watched all the men making tutorial on the raid, my guild is doing there first run today(a bit late maybe yes but) noone can explain stuff as good as you. its so much more informative and its just on another lvl from any other tutorial video! thanks for the video!
If you die while holding the tether, apologize to the healers because life will get very interesting X)
