  1. Hello there! Please take a test of the game Hearthstone, directly from the Blizzard launcher. Whether it works without lags at maximum resolution and at maximum graphics. It would also be interesting to see if Hearthstone works together with Hearthstone Deck tracker by HS Replay. I just play a lot of Hearthstone and want to buy this laptop, but I can't test it.

  2. M1 performance ist just outstanding for what it is. I’m so annoyed by the heat and noice from my former MacBooks while some gaming. Or most of my comparable windows laptops. This is the perfect device I was waiting for years. On the other side: man I wish apple and nintendo would have been partner. 😂

  3. I just got the 8 core GPU and 16GB memory MBA today. I'm experiencing this weird issue where the resolution keeps getting reset every time I log out and I keep having to put the settings back to recommended and redo everything. Would you know anything about this by chance? Also, the temp while using these settings ranges anywhere from 60—80 C. Do you think this is too hot?

  4. You think that a Macbook Air will not get a thermal throttling when playing a new raid for some hours?
This is the last thing that I need to know to finally buy a Macbook for my software engineering job, before not being able to properly play a raid was the big problem for me xD

  5. Does it help to buy an external usb cooler in order to keep 60 fps consistently? I have noticed a drop in the fps after a while of playing and when there is a lot going on in the game. Even when in number 4 in graphics settings

  6. You can play it higher! The only hits on performance is water and shadow quality. You can put those on low and everything else on ultra and it’s perfect playable. If you put them on medium or fair you get a massive performance hit.

  7. Hey Archivist, I've got a M1 MacBook Pro 16GB/256GB and I don't want WoW on my internal storage.
Can I install it straight to my new LaCie 1TB Mini storage (USB 3.0) and keep my MBP clean and still run it smoothly without tearing on my MacBook Pro? 🙂

  8. M1 is a beast! Just got my wife (an avid WoW player) the M1 Mac Mini to replace her Hackintosh and it's amazing! Zero complaints, plays better than her 7th Gen i5 w/ RX 570 video card, Apple has finally hit the mark with this one!

  10. Cmon you play with 4 view distance on barrens… tried it at LFR and you cannot play efficiently even with mid settings… it’s just for logging in to check mailbox and the auction house unless they further optimize

  11. Quick Update On LFR, I was going to do a separate video on it but tbh I'm not gonna have time so I'll very quickly summarise. Unfortunately, the Air doesn't do particularly well here even if you drop settings its very hard to get a consistent 60fps. That said, I haven't found a situation where it goes below 25 fps even in very busy fights so it never becomes unplayable. I'm observing a bit of a general weakness whenever you're in an area with a lot of NPC / player characters – anyone who's played WoW before knows this has always impacted frame rate but it seems almost disproportionately impacting on this device. It may just be that ARM is introducing strengths in certain areas, but also bottlenecks in other's we aren't used to.
