Thought I would do more of a face to face type of a video where I give my honest thoughts on Shadowlands thus far. What I think of the lore, the game itself and the story progression and what are my thoughts on the current Shadowlands content drought.

All of the footage used in the video is copyrighted by Blizzard Entertainment unless stated otherwise.

  1. yes there is a major content drought. But what people do NOT want to admit and take into consideration is it is 90% due to the fact of the PANDEMIC. Which is still technically going on. And they are ALL still working from home. This will push stuff so far back its not funny. Blizz does need to get new content out but people seriously need to realize this.

  2. Lore speaking, it is in my opinion the best expansion after Legion and WOTLK. Nice use of famous characters, interesting insight into new villains. As Doron says the patches are taking way too long to hit the road.

  3. If I am going to be super cynical..

I don’t care how good an expension is anymore.
Simply because I’m also aware Blizzard will milk more money from players one way or another.. That’s my big kink in the cable. 🙁

  4. I don't really understand why everyone is acting like this is their first expansion. the .1 patch has always been barren of content and we have to wait an additional 4 months for any real content. (with the exception of legion and bfa if you count how little there was besides BoD & CoS)
With 9.1 theres a new zone, raid, pvp reworks, dailies, and campaign. I think with the delayed expansion, pandemic, and heavily scaled back team that this is quite a feat. Have a little decency for the ones doing the groundwork at least.

  5. I didn't buy Shadowlands, but I'm still hopeful that Blizzard will make changes to the game that will make me want to buy it. At this point, they really need to "Break glass in case of emergency" during the course of this expansion, and not the next one. Even with 9.1, I don't see anything of value coming from that patch. And it's supposed to be a "major patch!?" The only notable things I can think of off the top of my head are Korthia and the raid, so it's basically like Nazjatar and the raid that came with that?

  6. Seeing sylvanas in a third expansion was my first issue with SL
Seeing sylvanas own bolvar was the second issue I had going into SL. Now the content drought. As for storytelling, it’s gone on for so long and is broken up so much, it’s no longer interesting. SL could have been a great idea but blizzard dropped the ball when first designing it.

  7. Hey mate just want to say how refreshing it is to see another big content creator talk openly about this stuff and give constructive criticism. Really getting sick of big content creators just moaning, offering no constructive criticisms so I for one appreciate what you've done here. Keep up the lovely work bro.

  8. the patch should have been releaced at mid March at max , if F2P can releace content almost every month there is almost no excuse for a sub game to take this long to releace content.
I'm also taking WOD vibe with the content for 9.1 so much of shadowlands lore is already being done in the next patch that I can't see what they are going to do for the other 2 to 3 major patches and this long time to releace just the 9.1 isn't helping the case.

  9. If they cannot give us anything substantial I think they should be re-introducing some things that were fun in previous Xpacks such as the mage tower in legion etc so us players who have 6 month subs have something to work towards.

  10. I like this type of content and hearing your honest thoughts! I am also worried for WoW with this content drought, I was kind of done with WoW but Shadowlands really hyped me up. It is giving me heavy WoD content draught vibes, I just hope that we'll get a fulfilling patch when it does finally come.

  11. Pretty much agree with everything you said. Loved the story for the first time in ages, the zones were great, first raid teir was great and enjoyed the dungeon, but then around February- March I was done, and had nothing else to do and no reason to log on anymore. Its a shame really.
