I don't have the time or money to even try to join a "world's 1st guild" I do agree that Legion has been the best expansion in WoW, so far.
I dont overreact or something but tbh since my guild disbanded early into SOD I just sit on my couch and wait for the next day
I dont enjoy other games and I just hope that WoW becomes better so I can play it with my friends in future again

Gameplay is shit, professions are shit, economy is shit in retail.

MMO slump times are great chances to catch up on all the single player games that have released that you haven't gotten to.

Condivido tutto quello che hai detto, impossibile abbandonarlo del tutto, speriamo solo si risollevi e torni ad essere entusiasmante come tempo fa, spero anche che tante persone tornino a giocare così da ricreare quella la community sana e volenterosa di tuffarsi a pieno nel gioco. I tried – I played for 13 years. I finally stopped my sub Oct 23. I just can't. Between terrible expansion after expansion, betrayal of canon character lines, the micro transactions, the breaking of classes, and even classic. Did the blizzard toxicity culture factor into it? I mean it didn't help but I wasn't the sole reason I left but it's so bad. I think they've broken the game beyond repair.

at this point ill just take bfa for another 2 years than continue playing shadowlands, the expansion itself and whole theme around it is just shit, they might as well just scrap the expansion and come up with something else.
Not to sound dismissive, but the reasons to not quit WoW sound exactly like a person stuck in an abusive relationship, hoping for the "good times" to come back and in order to get there you stick out the "bad times"…but this isn't a relationship. Affection is completely onesided and the only thing to consider is your own…and are you enjoying your time? If not…then you're wasting your time, making yourself miserable in the process…

I had the best time in WoW when i first started in Vanilla.
Me and irl friends got in to the same guild, it was amazing..The GM was mental tho and he got banned ha ha
So, me and irl friends decided to swap server and switch race, created our own guild….
The guild grew better and better over 3 years, reaching Top 10 on Server for a few things! (for a while) then unfortunately due to real life,
I had to make a heartbreaking decision to go afk from wow and pass the baton over to a brilliant person, who shared the same passion i had, she was my No2 for the time i was there, so i knew the guild was in safe hands.
The guild is still going…….Last year was 15 years!!
I returned to WoW in 8.3…and the same person was still at the helm! doing Mythic Raids for fun…unreal, i couldn't believe it!
I stayed till 9.1……
My Gm, i knew felt same as me, but i know, the guild is still there,
I was saddened to leave again but the game just isn't the same, for me anyway.
I'm not saying i wont go back however i am having fun elsewhere at the moment…so lets see what 9.2…even 9.3 brings ?
I have played WoW since WOTLK Patch 3.3.0 and I have played mostly non-stop up until 2017 when I started to take 1-2 month breaks, then I took about 4 ish months off in BFA around 8.2 until fully quitting in May 2021. I Played FFXIV for a few months but for some reason it was just hard to get into it. But pretty much now what's filling my time is singleplayer games and old console games. Might possibly give ESO another shot, which will probably last a month or two.
I just hope WoW can get better in the future, I feel like its my home in a way because of all the time I put into my characters and the mount/toy collection I've farmed up. I miss my collections.

The game has turned to entire crap. All the entire game is centered around is kill kill and kill. No freaking imagination.
When I think about WoW I imagine a person everybody talked up for years to you, "that is a great guy", "I love that guy", etc etc, then you meet them and they are doing crazy things and most people you know are disappointed with him now… And you kinda feel bad.
I hope it gets better, and soon.
I think the problem is the affix. Tormented affix is so boring. You can't skip, can't do a big pull with the servant. It just slow down the pace of completing the dungeon. Unlike tormented, the most fun affix is Reaping! I hope BZ can figure out more and more exciting affix in the new following patches!
lol slow you down, man you would have not lasted in vanilla and tbc. dungeons are not slow by any measure. you can knock out most dungeons in like 15 20 minutes with a good group, tbc dungeons be like an hour.
