Did a +16 Theater of Pain and I feel like we crushed it!! I have been pugging a lot, so finding groups that know what they are doing seems to be hard to come by. I’m happy to have found these players. If you have ANY questions, please let me know! I’m still learning, but I can try to be helpful 🙂

  1. Honestly I’ve found that if you have enough vers, crit isn’t that insane in mythic +, I’d go for more haste to get those casts off quicker for emergency healing, and with all that vers you have your heals should pump regardless of crit. But it’s tough with mw because the stats are a different priority between PvP/PvE. Generally I’ve noticed more haste is really nice for PvE scenarios whereas in PvP it’s all about mastery and vers if I’m right.

  2. Only thing I noticed talent setup wise is that you usually go Rising mist for m+. Focused Thunder is often not even in the discussion. However if youre successful with it and enjoy the playstyle, stick with it! The idea behind Rising Mist is that you use TFT and RSK so that you have a very high uptime of 4-5 Renewing Mists (RM) on your group which allows for insane Vivify cleave (especially with Tear)

For Blood DK healing its best to get a WA that shows their Runic Power and Boneshield stacks. They can die in a second on 80% hp and at the same time be absolutely fine at 20% hp. Their hp doesnt matter, only their CDs and runic power/bone shield.

Tear and Atotm are both amazing for m+.

  3. Hi I have been on forums and what not to ask the same question, and I would like to hear you and your community aswell

So what does mistweaver monk need to be viable or even potentially good, with a honor talent refresh they have the potential to make it viable imo. They could add good self defensives like greater fade(some monk version, would make sense to dodge alot of things being a monk), they could also make good new CDs so they didn’t only have cocoon, if you look at other classes new abilities are common in pvp talents so everything is possible, my question just is, what could be added to make them good ?

  4. I main mistweaver and you use soothing mist wayyyy too much. Don’t be afraid to just use vivify. You also didn’t even take serpent jade statue and soothing mist costs more mana when you channel it. Sometimes when you need to spot/spam heal for big damage like the enrage mask for dos, casting vivify is much more efficient than soothing misting everyone.

  5. From what I understand the value in Rising Mist outplays the other two options by far if you consistently extend even a few enveloping mists when the healing is effective, and otherwise extend your renewing mists on the whole group to get value out of the HoT and vivify cleave. And of course the damage it lets you do while still contributing to healing 🙂

Also soothing mist is usually a trap to cast as others have noted already, it’s usually more mana, time and healing efficient to just hard cast vivify and enveloping.

One more note, if you play chi-ji and rising mist I usually find I don’t get much value out of mana tea and usually play spirit of the crane. There’s only a few times I’d be nonstop spamming casted heals, and chi-ji makes your enveloping mists free
