  1. If they didn't still use that horrible outdated client I would have a hard time choosing between this and Epoch. But I have to admit, they seem to be back in the game.
If only they could merge or at least trade code and ideas.

  2. One of the most dedicated and well made private servers. Custom zones, quests, dungeons, music, artwork. All scripted on the original 1.12 code, with the majority of it being immersive and fitting to the vanilla theme.

  3. Immediately "The Deadmines: The Laboratory" lmao. Why would they not just make it The Deadmines: Laboratory 😂😭 and then they really round it off by mispelling Foundry….. holy hell. Also ripped the Overgrowth from retail. Still fairly cool tho

  4. I would be cooler if Turtle added to the Vanilla dungeons without announcing a change and without name changing the areas. That would be a true Vanilla feeling. You enter somewhere and then you are like, – Wtf. is this ? what's the difficulty ? what's the reward ? etc.

  5. Isn't Turtle wow overran by Chinese or none English speaking players? That is mainly why I stopped and what would prevent me from returning. Can't play with others if we have a language barrier…

  6. Looks very nice and wish Blizzard would do something like that with Classic+, but imo Turtle lacks polish. ie. no "real" mechanics on bosses, skippable bosses etc.

  7. I feel this is their attempt to compete with Project Epoch, which did a WAY better job at the dungeon reworks. I also suspect they're going to strategically release the new Karazhan raid patch around the same time as the Epoch server launch to help retain player interest. Turtle needs to focus on new raid content and less on low level dungeons cause so far, Project Epoch looks like it's going to be the new sheriff in town.
