Though Lady Sylvanas finally took vengeance upon her BFF, The Jailer, her dark crusade in the Shadowlands proved costly. A vast retcon was unleashed upon both the Alliance and Horde to calamitous effect.
Unbeknownst to the playerbase, it was in fact The Jailer who was behind everything; the creation of the Lich King, borrowed power systems, and the removal of plastic straws in favor of paper ones.
Though The Jailer was eventually defeated, Sylvanas and her lover Anduin remained behind in The Maw to clean up the mess they made. Mistrusted by the playerbase, Sylvanas must now prove her loyalty to the cause and redeem herself from her egregious treachery.
As one of the Forsaken, you’re sort of to blame too. So it now falls to you, a noob, to earn exalted reputation with the playerbase so they let you join their pug groups in the end game.
