They're just fanboys. Sylvanas was always evil.
The thing with only one burning legion was retconed
Another thing that sylvanas did (in a book, not inside the game) was that some undead have "alive family" they made a reunion and then she proceeds to kill all those undeads infront of her "alive family" cuz yeah they were "traitors" to her eyes, that was mess up and sad
Sylvanus has a great story unfortunately the video is old and doesn't tell the rest of it. Her ultimate end goal was to break the life/death cycle so however many people had to get murdered on the way wasn't going to matter if she won.
For your question about possession: Warlocks have magics that can rip the souls out of creatures, and the same magic can be used to put a soul in another body. Warlocks are fairly rare in lore, there was like one clan of orcs that could do it and not much in the way of others. The first deathknights were actually created by putting orc souls in the bodies of fallen humans.
Then of course Sargeras is basically a god so it was no problem for him to do it for himself. Actually all of the titans have put parts of their souls into things on azeroth (though it was constructs for the rest of them, not mortals)
Then there's also the domination magic such as that used by the lich king, which is reliant on magically imbued runes such as those on Frostmourne.
"Garrosh did nothing wrong" is sort of a meme, though some people do seem to believe it. I fall under the "he did about 95% of things wrong" category lol.
Illidan 'disenchanting' Gul'dan has to be my favourite quote from any lore video 🤣
"Posessing" someone is kind of a spell in Warcraft Universe, but can be achieved by multiple ways, that are not always strictly established in lore.
You can just create a magic ritual to "posess" someone, but a very powerful soul can also take over your body (like Sargeras did with Medivh oder Banshees in Warcraft III do with enemies). Usually posession is more easy, if you have a connection to the target (like it is family or you have a
Permanent posession with erasing the soul that inhabited the body before is harder to achieve and – obviously – considered as purely evil in Warcraft Universe.
Also – not everyone has magic powers in World of Warcraft – you cant just "posess" someone to live forever as a normal mortal. You would probably need very specialized magic education with wisdom that is forbidden in many reaches of Azeroth.
Why do you watch all these videos mixed up? Just finish the shadowlands cutscenes you already startet and then move on to the next
About the "Garrosh did nothing wrong" thing… there are also people who say "Sylvanas did nothing wrong"… just a bunch of simps… i agree thoso two characters are cool, but thats about it
i reccomend watching the video 'the best villain in warcraft history' by platinum wow, it goes deeper into garrosh and will explain it, he did nothing wrong with all the events leading to pandaria, theramore was a key military objective for the horde and he gave time for civilians to evacuate
I like how, after 23 narratives, the WoW story finally begins 17:53 XD
theres a video called "garrosh did nothing wrong" by hirumaredx that might be interesting to watch
Garrosh did nothing wrong is basically a meme.
It the same as people say hitler did nothing wrong but instead of being serious but here as a joke
Garrosh is literally wow version of hitler with racism, genocide and camp shit.
14:13 Sylvanas has not been chill since she died, people are absolutely delusional if they believe that. she literally created a plague and tested it on human slave guinea pigs to destroy her enemies whatever the cost since the moment she got freed from arthas control
Sylvanas was always a villain and incredibly evil and hates life and hope but she does have some feelings in her for her sisters, for the forsaken, and even for anduin which reminds her of her younger brother. so her character is conflicted throughout the story. she was somewhat hesitant with going along with the jailer and did more for the forsaken but that changed over time
For the long versions see Nobbel87. There are individual videos per character and Mega videos linked together like the Lich King video cause it goes across multiple people. Illidan has been seriously misunderstood by other characters and eventually gets redemption. Garona was secretly programmed with control spells so not really possession.
If you're interested about the "Garrosh did nothing wrong" thing, you should watch hirumaredx's "Garrosh did nothing wrong", so you'll know who Garrosh is and why nothing he did was wrong. Garrosh did absolutely nothing wrong!
