  1. I dont now. I guess I making something wrong or so, but the new one makes WAY less fun then the one from BFA.
It feels slower, less activ and cooldowns also dont feel good.

Nat sadisfying and fluid at all…

  2. Well, Enhancer and Elemental will do OK to fine in SL

What worries me is the Restoshaman.

Still the same Weaknesses than for 2 Expansions now. Raidheal is fine but The SingleTargetHeal is mähhhh, especially when we think of higher M+-Keys

  3. Downtime in a spec is not a problem, unless we are talking 10+ seconds.
Its one of the big reasons why i always come back to the Rogue because of the energy mechanic.
Having a spec be naturaly gcd locked is awful for extended playing.

  4. Feels terrible to play single target on PTR. Once dot is up, SS , LL is on cd and LB isn't ready to go you just sit there waiting for something to come of cd.

Makes me think of a Frost DK without the whole cool undead thing. I'd rather 8.3 enhance.

  5. After playing enhance on the beta for about 30ish hours. Lavalash feels really weak and useless unless you fully spec into it(lashing+hothand+hailstorm). For some odd reason double windfury weapon feels better than flametongue and more fun. Combined with a active earthen spike+sundering build you can completely remove lavalash from the rotation as it deal less than auto attack damage without flametongue..Ofc this(fun) is probably not intended so they'll disable double windfury and force us back into lava lash. A main attack should not require 3 talents to feel useful.
Besides that, chain lightning feels like aoe clutter. It makes the aoe rotation too busy. As it seems stormstrike+crash lightning buff makes maelstrom proc more, which leads to either spamming chains every 3rd gcd while stormstrike is also off cd half the time and gets wasted. And that's without hailstorm or fire nova in the rotation.
Imo, they should give us the option to choose between wf+wf or wf+ft or ft+ft builds for pure single target, cleave, aoe situations. This would make things much more interesting.
Remove chain lightning and buff crash lightning.

  6. My biggest gripe about new Enhancement Shaman is that it doesn't feel like "Enhancement" anymore. It feels like "Elemental". 0:50 "you're on this whack-a-mole, priority spec. It ALWAYS had something to do." Yeah, that's kinda the point. It's meant to be a fast-hitting, decent-damage spec. The "new" version just feels like elemental shaman. I think the thing I liked about enhancement the most was that I could run through old raids for xmog runs and just mash rockbiter, flametongue, and frostbrand against any target without having to slow down. With the new changes, I get 1 flame shock/frost shock and then I have to wait 5 seconds to do something I could've done 4 times already? I have to stop moving to cast chain lightning or lightning bolt on one-off mobs? I have to run directly through several packs that don't have aggro range on me since I'm overleveled and eventually just group them all up to press sunder or crash lightning? Don't even have Fury of Air anymore to walk through mobs and have them die without me touching them? All the cool parts of Enhancement just got replace with shitty Elemental Shaman basic spells that Enhancement never wanted. Does Blizzard even realize they're being contradictory when they say
"There's too much class diversity between specs so we're trying to done down the unique-ness and make each class feel like a singular class and the specs are just flavor"
"We're creating covenants to make your class and spec choices feel more unique"
What's next? Ice mages casting pyroblast? Give me a break. Either allow specs to be completely different or remove specs entirely and let each class be all specs at once, but the player chooses which abilities to put on their hotbar. Fuck it, just merge every class into 1 superclass and give it every class' abilities so you can pick and choose the abilities you like.

On a completely separate note: I thought your bit about Enhancement Shaman battling carpal tunnel was actually quite funny for a few reasons.
    1. It's true to a point.
    2. It proves that the spec actually takes skill to play.
    3. It diversifies the spec to a point where you can tell if a player is good at the game if they can play the spec properly vs if they can't.

Summary: Downtime is bad for a class that's meant to hit things quickly. I don't know what class I'll be rerolling to yet, but I definitely won't be playing Enhancement in Shadowlands if it goes live like this.

  7. would you be able to cove shaman again, currently feels like it isn't the best compare to other class's unless other class's get major nurfs to the damage I don't see how enh will be viable

  8. The Maelstrom bar is gone, which is wonderful. The cool downs however now are almost unbearable. I'm staring at my action bars to see what I can actually cast instead of enjoying the game. We have a hybrid mixture of elemental spells and older shocks to replace the melee versions we had (shared and painful cool down yet again. No added survival for PvP, and our Rockbiter is sorely missing to fill in the downtime and agro mobs from a distance. Some totems back but not all, (weak heal and a windfury totem that benefits the group mostly) and no way to pick up and move like before. Cast lightning bolt to hit mobs? Only they are dead before the spell goes off due to other players cleaning up. Two shields, but you only get to wear one, both are of minimal help. Thank you Blizzard.

  9. I never understood why lava lash is a melee ability. the first time i heard about that ability i immediately pictured a balrog style lava whip with at least a little bit of range on it. not 30 but 12 or maybe 20 even. the fact its melee range only is odd
