  1. All the hub looks like some kind of magic academy from "Heroes V". I mostly like it but…. i wish we could have more grim and dark hub, not some kind of arabian fairy tale.

  2. I think it's obviously designed to not be a "city city" if you get me? Like it's a trade city for us to go back to and do what we need to do but lore wise it's just a place in the shadowlands that is used as a workplace to bring in the dead, so not really somewhere that people live.

  3. RP walk up the stairs? You mean stack on top of the chest at the top of the stairs while using all kinds of toys and potions that increase your size, do all kinds of crazy things, and spam aoe abilities on top of the chest while writing in chat “I hope you all get shit.” Gotta love wow! <3

  4. I'll be honest. Compared to zuldazar and borealis it seems underwhelming. Even if it gets populated later on. I assume we have order halls for our covenant choices hopefully cuz then I'd most likely be spending time there.

Wish the city looked more ephemeral and mystical like the draenei and belf architecture.

  5. I know it's not finished, but it looks a little… generic? It's not bad by any means, but its style looks really barren and unoriginal. Maybe the lack of buildings and NPCs just standing in different corners of one huge area make it a bit… underwhelming and boring? If the whole area was filled with small buildings and market stalls with different covenant themes, it'd look really cool and like a true center of Shadowlands. Not a huge fan of spending much time in this.

  6. disappointed in that "city", the idea to make it mostly indoors, but with far less farsight than e.g. Ironforge, is imho bad. In IF you had the feeling that a lot of dwarves live in those houses you see quite far away. Oribos is just lifeless corridors from what I've seen now.

  7. My guess is this is probably going to have a movement speed bonus like pre-legion Acherus, I mean, it's too huge and flying is probably not going to happen in the city

  8. I love how Oribos looks, but I can see why alot of people don't. I like the fact that it looks very dull and simple because this is a very, very ANCIENT city, this place predates the Legion, the Titans, Azeroth, probably even the light and the void. The place almost looks like the universes first draft, or concept art for cities. It feels very large and very old and I love it, it strikes a tone that no city in WoW ever has and congratulations Blizzard for doing it

  9. 0:30 /facepalm…. this portal you totally forgot to tell where it is. Only came here for that.. damn general chat being dead as fuck in alpha. But looks like the place u zone into when u make a new char.

  10. The Oribos specific placeables seem to draw heavily, heavily from the Ethereal design. Which, given that we have characters like the Locus Walker and Ethereal Soul Trader… I can't help but wonder if there'll be some fleshing out of Ethereal lore that Oribos is where some of their arcano tech and skill in magic came from.

  11. I know it'll be like a year or so post launch, but I hope that when we get flying, that we can fly into those swirls to get to those zones. That's my biggest want from Oriobos.

  12. i have the "Mild" feeling that the attendants are dicks and not only dicks but THE Dicks. Cartel? Soul Brokers staring at the new souls? man… those flying shits are slavers. The Arbiter, being motionless and mute is also a comfortable coincidence for them. This thing is going to turn up far more dark, sad and morbid.

  13. Love the look of this personally.
Kinda feel bad for the design team making the main hubs as 90% of them end up completely obsolete with profession areas and all that jazz dont really matter. Might just be the inkeeper and the longbois parked in the mount area that will see traffic.

  14. Oribos is very very plain and underwhelming but in saying that I reallllllyyy like the way it looks it's neat and just has its own original look and feel. and that skybox gazing down at the maw is amazing as.
