  1. See I disagree with how it "should be equal to mythics and raiding" when its obviously not. I can solo 8s quite easily on now 6 characters yet find higher mythic pluses and harder level raids much, much harder. Therefore the reward should be better, effort equals reward and such. Also, IF all you do is delves why are you worried that your gear isn't as high as someone that does high end mythic pluses or mythic raiding. You never set foot in there so you're at the proper ilvl and power level needed to do what is your end game content. This constant gripe that players should all be equal and have just as high ilvls and such when they don't do equal tasks is just stupid……. (btw… I don't mythic raid and haven't done any high end keys, so saying i'm a elitist or any other crap like that doesn't make sense as a argument)

  2. I like doing delves over raiding or Mythic+, it is less drama and less of a time commitment for me. So for me personally being able to upgrade my gear without having to do those two things works really well for me.

You hit it right on the point; group content can be so toxic, especially for a casual player who is not worried about min/maxing, raid scores, etc. I would like to see a more consistent way to get guilded crests since no matter what you are not going to get me back into group content right now. That being said, getting 18 per week is better than the zero we get now. Maybe Bliz can split the difference and have the cap higher for delves but not as high as if you do group content too. Like maybe half. If 90 is the cap, let us get 45 from Delves.

  4. Delver opinion:

    The big + is that you are now able to do the full endgame gearing to max ilvl as a delver, this is a great change. I, as well as others in the comments, have been doing pretty much only delves as the main progression content so far. For me personally, I just haven't had the desire to commit to the raid schedule and or m+ schedule, and i HATE pugging with passion, so delves give the most amount of freedom which has been very pleasant. However, the biggest issue of delves currently is that you cannot go to the max ilvl, you have no choice but to eventually go into another form of content in order to max out the ilvl. This is in tandem with the problem that you cannot fully complete delves on its own due to the later difficulties requiring hiring ilvl than what is possible to achieve in delves alone, so this is good that they are fixing this problem.

    gear is the main form of progression once leveling is done, so being able to get max ilvl from multiple sources is a good thing in my eyes. This works well in pretty much all the other major mmos too (ff14, ESO, gw2) so im glad that WoW is "catching up" in this regard.

    I think that being able to get max ilvl from a lot of different sources will make the game better overall. No it wont "devalue" the raid and or m+ progression, because raiding is fun in its own way, and m+ is also fun in its own way, but these other forms of content also have achievements specific to the content. I think it would be "devaluing" to get AOTC from doing delves, but ILVL is a completely different thing. Notice I say ilvl and not gear. You cannot get raid gear unless you do a raid, or m+ gear without doing m+, so nothing in my mind is being "devalued", its really just ilvl that is being opened up.

    And on this note, I think they need to pull the plug and allow you to get a full set of max ilvl gear from crafting, and also make the outdoor gathering way more engaging. This way you have an endgame progression path for engaging with THE WORLD.

    Anyways, whats the – for this? the weird max gilded crest per week thing. This is dumb, and is just a small attempt at blizzard trying to get delve players into the other content. I don't think this is good, there should be NO CAP.

    Blizz should simply embrace delves for what they are: solo or very small group dungeon-like content that allows you to get to the max ilvl just like raids, dungeons, and pvp,

    Delves are a fantastic addition, and im glad to see that they are actively trying to make it better, but they definitely should drop the weird rules and just be cool and open about it. It'll go a long way.

  5. And once again, Blizz almost made good change, but then had to add something to make it not as good… It is still impressive how Blizz cant figure out why ppl are not doing group content and just dangle damn carrot…

  6. I think that Blizz always starts with rewards geared too low and then adjust up. It makes sense in practice, because any nerf to rewards would go over extremely badly, but always leaves us underwhelmed during the initial roll-out period.

  7. You what they should’ve done instead of delves? They should have added unique mechanics to the end boss of every quest line in each zone and added difficulties like they had with delves.

  8. Ahhh , WTF* ! Cmon even hardest 11+. Delves for solo players, you need 2-3 hours for solo Dps and even then better be really in need of fuking different items gear ! and just an upgrade a piece of chance for new beter gear ! Solo players just don't have the time anymore to spam fuking (nerfed like +10 Underkeep delve is like +8 Mythic so called Pushers/Keys*Pros . For 14-35 min and they complained to nerf easy Delves** Pfff !! We are happy to even got Zekvir spawning +10 for fu*king* 3 guilded crests per Week. Im lucky to have 623 ilvl Full Delves gear for whole season but +11 need min 626 Mythic track. To survive in Solo ! Thanks for the video aye" 😄 but Very bad before new year 🕛!🎉🎉🎉 So sad. GG!

Delves should not be just one identical room with a different rotating mob/objective configuration, they should have been like Torghast(yes you heard) where there are randomly and proceduraly generated floors you must travel between to reach the end, making sure it doesn't get too boring by allowing a much more varied configuration of rooms, Enemies, traps and objectives.

    In-fact, bring back an updated Torghast as a ever-updating activity and plot device and open ended means for Blizzard to bring back dead characters if need be. Have Ner'zul take control of it as he tries to bring back various characters to help fight whatever threat is coming. Arthas, Kel'Thuzad, Anub'arak, Teron Gor, Zuluhed the Whacked and Gul'dan now comprised of both timeline versions of him merged into one by Ner'zul, would be a welcome sight as Ner'zul becomes the new Neutral Scourge.
