  1. Well maybe if they were in a guild that doesn’t allow petry they would have been fine. You play at your own risk. Hindsight is 20/20. You can break this down as much as you want and pick apart his game play but you would have done the same in that position. He did nothing wrong.

  2. Events that happen. First pull tanked on stairs (tank position error.) Call to run made. party lead wasn't piratesoftware (leader error.) Piratesoftware did use blizzard. Tank stopped to try and tank even though run was called. (Another tank error). Rogue keeps trying to hard cc boss. boss immune. (Rogue issue). Tank knocked into another group. By boss ability (3 for tank.) Rogue still using abilities the boss is immune to.
I got this from watching tank pov and mage pov. Blaming thor is a joke.
Sorry forgot one last thought. It's a game. It was a bad situation. With bad ideas all over. Like that pack that was pulled as people ran… in raid like environment you follow the call even if you die. Hard-core you don't lose the character. You can transfer it to free to normal server.

  4. Would say go back and watch it yet again. The boss literally walks right to them Thor never once targeted the boss to use anything to pull the boss so you can't say he pulled it. It was all a position error.

And as a tank main for almost 9 years I will say any pats that get pulled do to walking into the group is a tanks fault. So to start first problem was the tank then the second was them not committing to the run. If they played safe and just left they probably would have all lived.

  5. The amount of people who don't understand why people are mad at Pirate is insane. It has nothing to do with the ingame mistakes, it has everything to do with how he acted afterwards. Mages are not invited to groups to do damage, they are invited to group to control the mobs especially in situations like this, it is literally their job to HELP others get out when "run" is called; Run does not mean every man for himself. Pirate did not do the job he was invited to do, and would not accept an ounce of blame, that is why people are mad at him, he is 100% part of the blame. Yet he didnt want to accept any of it, doubling down on "NUH UH I DIDNT DO ANYTHING WRONG HUURRR DUUUR" over and over again, and started threatning other content creators which is fucking hillarious. Of course no one wanted to play with him, he is a egotistical dick. Just a "yes i did something wrong, sorry" and all of this would have been avoided, too big ego to say that. His excuse about having no mana is bullshit, at 5:23 you see him look at his Ruby gem (look at his mouse position), and right next to it Robe of the Archmage, that total would be around 2k mana, more than enough to save everyone.

  6. To be fair it's not someone coming into your hobby and messing it up. It's someone coming into your hobby, messing it up blaming you for it and saying that he did nothing wrong at all

  7. Not partial in this drama, played wow as a hardcore raider for almost 10 years as a MT i have to say this is a SHIT take. First off you keep saying the mage pulled the boss is just complete BS, that was another situation that was just as messy as this one tho, did the mage pull adds and the boss yes, yet as a MT it is MY responsiblity to pull and keep my team out of situations like this. It's also funny the clip you use completely misses the pull where the tank face pulls, uses none of his threat generation and does not move them back, the druid moved behind the ogre and butt pulls the 2nd pack. The tank then STILL doesn't move pulling the boss who's patrol route is right where they are. Then they run, the tank keeps turning his back towards the mobs keeping him dazed the whole time, then they decide to stop retreating on the WORST possible spot to do so. They stopped very close to the patrol to the left in between the ramps and a pack of trash mobs behind them. The druid keeps jumping around butt pulling another thrash pack they skipped moving up there, if you look closely you see the frostbolt heading for the druid after he pulled them, resulting in the priest getting killed due to healing threat. Could the mage have done something, sure, would it have saved them from the mistakes of the tank and druid, i doubt it. The rogue did absolutely NOTHING either while shouting and casting blame, twhile acting insane on camera. If the druid retreated and the tank backpedalled as he should have, they could have maybe salvaged the situation around the corner away from the 2nd pack the druid butt pulled.

  8. at the end of the day the only thing pirate really did wrong was not apologize, as far as the dungeon is concerned its all on the guy leading the dungeon. ive been playing wow since vanilla i have pretty much done it all in wow. i fully understand time cost involved and am a very experienced player. if the guy leading wouldn't have panicked and called for running away the entire situation never would have happened. its wow hardcore bro if you would have been in his situation the group leader says run run run in a panicking tone of voice you would also have ran. now i agree he should have apologized and his attitude was shitty he could have came back and slowed the mobs but the leader called for everyone to come back when they had literally no chance of winning and got the healer killed (that was just after pirate canceled the blizzard and keep running). the responsibility fall on the group leader calling the shots regardless of what any player in the group did. that is the responsibility you take when you want to lead the group. but pirate did have a shitty attitude and should still have apologized but you cant put the blame all on pirate he wasnt the lead. its common sense. BUT YA GOOD VIDEO EITHER WAY GLAD YOU CALLED OUT LOSERS DOING THREATS SO I SUBBED. keep up the good vids bro

  9. Pirate didn't pull the boss. If you watch the video from the rouges pov the tank pulled the pack on ramp which was stupid. Then the druid went to back of pack and pulled the 2nd pack. This pulled the boss with them. Then when fleeing the 3rd pack was pulled by bad position on the druid during the run out. Pirate's mistake was that he could have slowed the dogs but that put him in danger. Also no ice block is cast before the shot caller says "run run run" at best he could have saved the healer but had a high chance of death. He didn't fuck up till after everyone else did. He did fuck up but it was already really bad

  10. I think this wipe was now manufactured by streamers to increase views and generate drama.

The list of issues are a mile long but everyone is ignoring them.

First pull was terrible and should have been pulled back back by the tank. The mob is even interrupted from casting with a shield slam. This would have been extremely simple to pull the group back. The boss patrols through this area.

A kill order is established with Skull and X. The rogue is attacking the mastiffs, marked X, and not following the kill order and is taking aggro off of the tank. The rogue has extremely low dps throughout this encounter.

Druid uses his sprint for no reason to run behind the ogre mage. There is no reason for him to use sprint. It creates the situation later on that he cannot use it to either save himself or the group. Druid ends up pulling the other group nearby.

Druid and rogue stop attacking and just start chaotically moving.

Mage starts AoEing. Tank is not maintaining threat on the mobs. Pretty sure tanks have an AoE taunt that would have allowed them to burn everything down quickly.

Run is called. With the all the adds slowed, everyone is able to get a safe distance way. At this point the tank is jumping he stops, turns around and runs back into the mastiffs, then turns around again, forcing a daze debuff and a 8 second slow debuff. Why no one talks about this is actually odd. At this point everyone is safe.

Shortly after the mage turns around and if I was the mage player I would have been confused. The tank and trash mobs are not in position. Had the tank not stopped, the mobs would have been range of that blizzard the slow debuff would have been reapplied.

The boss has a shield slam and a knock back mechanic. The boss is running towards 3 players. Who has threat/aggro? Did the blizzard from earlier pick up threat from the boss? Did the current blizzard cause the mage to get aggro? Did the mage not have aggro and since he is casting going to be charged/ shield slammed into other adds?

It is extremely dangerous for the mage to run through the boss. If he blinks through the boss there is a high chance he will be charged and knocked back into other groups of mobs. This is a tribute run, there are mobs everywhere.

Why are players not strafing as they are running away to avoid the daze debuff?

We can see the druid and rogue doing very little. The rogue doing less. The tank even gets stuck running into a corner as he is running away.

Druid gets aggro and using cat form? and not bear form. Druid can shapeshift to remove movement debuffs.

Rogue is using blind on the boss instead of stun. I am not sure, but it looked like the rogue was trying to be knocked back into another group using blind which would have caused a complete wipe right at the entrance of Dire Maul. Which did nearly happen.

So what is more likely? Streamers are ignoring most of the facts, and creating drama, or that streamers are extremely bad at a video games.

There has been so many stupid takes on this… It was a very normal response he had for the situation. The mage did not pull those boss. The mage almost did everything correctly for standard mage.

    Edit:

You keep saying he pulled the boss, what are you basing this on?

    Edit:

People are literally confusing the mage and druid at this point…
