  1. THIS is the kind of shit I lurk for!
I still really think wow should make a streamline main-questline leveling experience that explains all main plotbeat lore including the removed between expansion events and maybe a solo dungeon/raid experience for newcomers to get all the main events and characters in their knowledge.
It's just not new person friendly at all and the lore of WoW (even retconned and change) has always been interesting and one of the biggest appeals of wow!

  2. At this point in time this is the only "cannon" origin to the Old Gods, if I remember correctly. Other than "From the Void" -Blizzard can pick & choose what is cannon after all.
"From the moment the universe came to be, dark spirits within the Void sought to twist reality into a realm of endless torment and chaos. These void lords, envious of the Pantheon's power, pooled their power and created the Old Gods to exert their influence over a titan in its most vulnerable state: before it had awakened. Not knowing which planets contained titan world-souls, the void lords then hurled their creations out through the Great Dark Beyond, hoping that some would smash into a nascent titan. The Old Gods began contaminating mortal worlds and everything else they touched in their blind search for a world-soul"

Realistically they can do a lot, but I will note. This explanation mentions they came from the Void LORDS not Lord. So at the very least, they could say that the Old Gods each came from a different Void Lord or something like that. Whether or not this origin will change.. I mean.. Yeah..

Also wanted to say thank you for uploading this on Youtube, it was a fantastic watch on both here & Accolonns channel, run them both all the way through so you both get the full view.
It's awesome content & to watch you guys talk. Really hope you both do more in the future & appreciate what you both do.

  3. Vryanoth should've been brought back into the fold differently. I get the Fryakk lesser of two evils crap…..

She should've gone up to Alextraza. I can't stand by my brother but I still don't trust you. I'll be watching your actions in the future and make my judgement. You are not MY queen.

  5. Regarding the "perspective of the books" I'd say that perhaps Blizzard decided on the approach (whether done well or not is another discussion) but there's the verbiage "to the victor goes the spoils." Maybe what Blizzard are trying to introduce is the notion that there were certain "victors" in the history of Azeroth, and that they dictated how their victory and the overall history is told. An example is the "scribbled notes" from Uldaman where the narrator of the scribbles tells how wrong the text is. That's actually an approach of storytelling that has never really happened. There was just one way of the story to go and go away if you wanted it differently. Metzen said "we're going to find out that the Titans been lying all this time." Yep, they were the victors who took possession of all the spoils. Maybe the real leader should have been Vyranoth, and we're going to find out that so time soon. As an example of how the story could be changed…
