In Shadowlands 9.1 Patch, we didn’t get this cool feature, but this just means there is more room for speculation for 9.2!: Which Ranged DPS specs have the best possibilities amongst their choices for the Best Legendary Combo, the inevitable double-legendary equip feature that should come in Shadowlands 9.2 Patch?

  1. It’s entirely possible and very on-brand for Blizzard to ultimately allow equipping two legendaries, BUT one legendary must be the Covenant-specific one. Can’t rule out the devs adding one last renown grind for us masochists.

  2. 50s between infernal casts? That's about 30 RoF casts in that time. With ~15s for incinerates, a bit more with heroism/PI going.
    Maybe so quick if you can get enough Infernals by ~10s in to back to back cast the RoF for about 20 casts

    Would be interesting to see some sims and the levels of variance involved.

I was thinking from yesterday melee enhance combinations and after watching waves using a variant of the wolf bones for m+ and having 10k sustained aoe, but no burst, it made me think that wolf bones+doom winds would make you have the best of both worlds. Burst and sustain even without ascendance.

  4. Here's my ideal combo for vengeance DH, I'm still brainstorming a bunch of others.

    Soul furnace soulbind increases damage of soul cleave by 45% every 10 soul fragments you consume, and in some testing I've done this takes end up making soul cleave the highest contributor to my damage. Plus, with the razelikh's legendary, the more I soul cleave, the faster I can use the 8 pointed star decree. There are other interesting interactions, in that I could go for the talents to reduce the CD of demon spikes and fiery brand for every soul fragment consumed. Lots of options to play the style I want to play, it seems, I just wish there was more flexibility in being able to switch and test out different options more easily than grinding and crafting.

    I hope blizzard makes the legendary powers a kind of pvp talent type system, and remove this from the gearing system. What do you think?

    I'm currently running the burning alive talent but with the 2 leggos, feast of souls could be interesting, I'm also running demonic and bulk extraction to test these synergies. It feels very smooth to play, but I've only used these builds for the early fights in H SoD and <10 M+ runs.

    It really enhances the 'payoff' of the builder/spender feedback loop of using soul cleave. Plus it noticeably mitigates the dps/threat loss by not running spirit bomb.

    So with the option to have 2 leggos, taking the kyrian one to pop more soul fragments will just have all those gears cranking and should make for the most engagement outside of playing momentum (alas, I must tank).

    It would also be nice before the expansion finishes to craft the 40% metamorphosis no CD and have fun with a zergy demonic spec while I train myself to prot warrior tank.

  6. I think in aoe kyrian leggo+arcane harmony should be overall better in aoe on arcane mages.
    I think Arcane Harmony+Arcane Bombardment will be more of a ST combo cause bosses are the only thing in game that can survive arcane burst while under 35% max hp.
    Even when you look at adds that have lets say 1m hp, 35% is 350k hp, arcane full combo in aoe could deal in that situation over 400k dmg to that 1 add (assuming arcane barrage crits and you spammed 30k+ arcane blasts(which you will have by 9.2 during cds) into that target)
    problem is you waste A LOT of dmg by overkilling the add, and your touch of the magi ends up doing nothing (it still explodes, but who cares, stuff is dead)
    Arcane Harmony+Arcane Bombardment becomes viable aoe combo only in super high fortified keys where you can run into adds that have 2m+ hp.

  7. Twd for boomy would be a lot better then you alluded to here because in cds we are already surging once ever 3-4 wrath casts and it would be especially nice on the dump window where we currently can get 3-4 surges with max stacks

For Venthyr Boomy Dreambinder would be an awesome choice cause … u prob dont know the rotation, and u dont spend all your AP, u get like at 96~98ish and 1SS back to 70ish, and 3~4 wraths back to that number, and if u hav BL/HERO your rotation changes entirely after 19stacks, soooooo ye, Dreambinder its by far the best choice for Venthyr Boomy. The high point of Arcanic Pulsar its to "hav a cooldown outside your cooldowns" thats cause we'r pretty shit outside anything lol even the tank does more dmg than us sometimes

  9. Since you dont really need the extra execute damage on the arcane barrage. I would really love to see the Arcane harmony and the kyrian specific Harmonic Echo legendary absolutely blow up packs
