My reaction to the ending of the Shadowlands, both the intro and the final Jailer cinematic. I got to say I’m super confused and I really don’t even know what to say. What are your opinions?

So the Shadowlands finale cinematic was just released, we got the Jailer intro cinematic as well as the Jailer ending cinematic which literally didn’t answer anything but it did give us some hints for what is to come after Shadowlands.
Still this was super underwhelming and very confusing as well it also confirmed a lot of theories such as Northrend being important and apparently there is a Jailer behind the Jailer.

Zovaal has PTSD mid fight xD
The reason why icecrown citadel is in northrend is because that's where kil' jeadan chukked that sob ner zhul while after stuffing him in a suit if armor.
From what I understood, Denathrius would've been on board with overthrowing the others if only Zovaal confided in him. He doesn't have any ulterior motives. He just has the hots for power.

So, the fight is inside the sepulcher. And Torghast is above Icecrown. How dose the power beam get from Torghast to the Sepulcher??? I think they planned the fight to take place in torgast originally.
that was sooooo bad dude, not gonna watch any top 10 worst end cinematics in wow in all of my life, because it will always be this one on the number 1, till the ends of times

People not liking the ending are the same people who think HP lovecraft books are shit as old ones and outer gods share the same "problems" as the Jailer. Having a godly being in a universe and understandable to consumers or characters withing the media. Heck in bible god is pretty much treated similiarly.
I think that the Zovaal feel a dark power coming to take the shadowland so he try to stop it but his brothers and sisters turn him into the Jailer.
I dont think theres nothing to extract about the cinematics. They just put SL in a box to never open it again and move one to the next thing. What a lame ending, what a lame expansion
Maybe someone will put a soul in the Jailer's husk , btw as everyone knows , the most pathetic and boring villain.

No. No, Blizzard, you don't get to suddenly try to cram in characterization in literally the last two minutes of the Jailer's existence. We have literally been waiting since SL was first announced to get some kind of personality from him. Too little, too late. Still the worst villain in all of WoW.

So basicly Zoval was behing everything bad that has happened to Azeroth and Universe, except Old Gods and Void lord, but still he is somehow a good guy and we have even bigger threath zo face in the future?

At this point… I think most of us welcome Sargeras to come back and cut this world in half, spare us the missery that is World of Warcraft and it's future story.

The Jailer, the Arbiter, Denathrius, the winter queen, the primus and by extension probably Elune are all just magical robotic constructs…. I can't even begin to express how disappointed I am in the uninteresting direction they are heading in. This feels like a bad high school level fanfiction, I can't believe I loved this game and learned all about it's lore and stories for 15 years of my life. It would have all been better spent giving other games a chance.
I really wish the entire ahadowlands lore and expansion was just a terrible N'zoth fever dream. I don't know how I will ever be able to take any plot line seriously after this dumpster fire of an expansion.
It started so well, and it ended so… bleh
I see two ways to interpret this (shitload) of ending: 1) he saw that a big war between the 6 cosmic realms is imminent and that would mean the end of eternity (haha). 2) there is an opposing force to the first once that soon will threaten the creation of the first ones… anyway he thought that only by merging (uniting) the realms this can be prevented
in the end .. there is always a bigger fish -.-

I swear I really fee llike the devs wanted to make a good xpac, started qith some ideas, but got either bored or demotivated and just went "oh well fuck it, let's just put an end to it, it can't be more lame than it has become"
Too bad really. They ve got over their head with SL. They went to this over the top cosmological thing and just didn't knew how to handle it at some point.
By the way, can someone explain to me why the fuck denathrius is against the jailer now ? Come on Blizzard, this is not even an end, it look like some crazy hallucination the jailer would have, I don't understand what is happening and I watched every Tali's videos trying to save some sense about the expansion's events tho
Worst story ever soo lazy
So zovaal was really trying to solve a bigger problem and denathrius was the real villain of the shadow lands. Could say he's….the phantom menace.
I'm excited. But then I think what Danuser just did to Arthas and think: "Nah, nothing good can come up if this guy is in charge".
They're really ruining their game with all these 'BUT WAIT, THERE'S ANOTHER BAD PERSON WHO IS EVEN WORSE THAN THE ONE YOU JUST BEAT AND THEY ARE WAY STRONGER!' Just for us to kill said bad person with no repercussions. Cata, imo, was the last time the bad person legitimately impacted the world indefinitely.
I feel like there will be some more cinematics in a few weeks
