Restoration Druid Time! – #1 – Off Meta to Keystone Master – Shadowlands Season 3

Read more about Shadowlands ➜ https://worldofwarcraft.mgn.gg

Welcome to the first push episode of Off Meta to Keystone Master, we start off really strong with a Sanguine Depths which turned into a So’leah’s Gambit. Due to it being a new dungeon, people being scared of running it, we’re forced to get into the LFG which is something that we rarely do.

Welcome to Off Meta to Keystone Master, a series where we PUG up to the top with off-meta combinations. In this one, we will take the Restoration Druid alongside the Venthyr covenant that is perceived by the community to be unplayable and not worth using in pushing Mythic Plus content for the road to KSM. Always enjoy taking challenges and this one will be just as fun as the others.

The rules are simple, I am only allowed to play with people in the LFG. No friends or guilds.

The series was recorded the moment the M+ season started and ended after 5 weeks.

Thank you for watching! If you enjoyed the video subscribing and liking would help me a lot! Also comment about anything in the video since I read every comment and love having discussions with my viewers ❤.

  1. A strong start! The Sanguine was surprisingly smooth. I think you would have had to announce that you're Venthyr for the urns there; I doubt many people would suspect otherwise. 😛

That pro leap back during the first boss Plaguefall knockback! The hunters are proud right now. Many many years ago I saw a video of a hunter using Disengage in…ICC maybe? It was some pro gaming move, getting back onto a platform of some kind, and after seeing that I practiced using Disengage constantly so that I could be cool too. It's always so fun when you pull it off.

The DK dying in PF to the exploding barrels was hilarious. Also, it was nice to see the DH using Darkness on the Infectious Rain to help out dmg reduction. You don't see that every day in a pug!

I agree that feral affinity would probably do more damage, but only in ideal situations. In these pugs where you can't really predict when people might be good vs. eat damage, it's a lot harder to get good damage out of feral affinity. I only take it for the 15% movement speed. I got the legendary for feral swiftness to be increased by 75% effectiveness too (and it puts Heart of the Wild on you for a few seconds when you shift form, with a 1min internal cooldown). It's a meme legendary, I mostly got it for my druids' speed sets (I have uhh…a few druids) but boy is it fun. I've just healed a couple of M0s though. I haven't touched a M+ yet this season–no time yet. I'm also laughing at how different our talent choices are–but I respect what you chose. There are lots of good combinations for resto druids, and using Flourish well is SOOO strong. I just hate having another button to press personally. :')

Very very much looking forward to the So'leah's Gambit. I hate Tazavesh already and I've only done it on heroic. Curious to see how the M+ scene is for it!
