Warlocks are in a bad place right now (to me) due to once again Blizzard forcing everyone who wishing to be even remotely competitive in end game content go affliction. I get it some players like it but everyone I know who mains warlock changed mains just due to this being for the 4th expansion in a row taking place. I mean honestly when was the last time demo or destro saw some love MoP maybe?
Blizz doesn't have to nerf afflic, just buff destro a lot!

I actually do like demonology a lot, I mained demonology from cata-bfa and didn’t mind the rework, the idea was pretty cool to me. Of course… the fact that I have such a hard time trying to get a group with the spec as well as the fact that I know if I had just been affliction/destro I’d be doing immensely better just made me not want to play the class in general. I just swapped to shadow priest for shadowlands.
Aff too stressful, Des nuke window feels satisfying but fsbm if you mess it up. Ive never considered Dem

Always loved affliction. Was a power house back in legion and it’s good to see it so high up on the weekly raid logs. I’m not an alt man but it might be time to crack out the old lock!

Too bad Destruction is the worst spec of the 3, because It's the spec I love and play since Legion. Oh well, gotta wait for those buffs, affliction is not for me, and I simply like destruction more than demonology so there's that, or rerolling
I mained Demo in Draenor and I loved it. I'm still salty about the rework and the class has never been fun for me since. I've tried my hardest to like it, but my character just feels dead to me and I get depressed even trying.
That's my main issue with Blizzard, they make something really fun and cool to play, then take it away and replace it with something dull and awkward. Same thing happened to several of my favorite Overwatch characters, which is why I stopped playing that game.
Always played Destro lock. Its rarely if ever been the best performing spec but something about slow cast for big dmg really tickles me.

I've been playing a lock since MoP and I always played destro even though affli being my favorite in flavor, because destro has always been sooo powerful and fun, while affli was fun yes, but not so very powerful. FINALLY in this exp affli is my main spec and I love it! I tried Torghast with destro but for me affli it's 10 times better this time around.
I main a Demo lock and it's so much fun, i've tried the other specs but they aren't anywhere near as much fun as Demo

I've played Demonology on my Warlock since WotLK – I'm not changing and if anyone complains, I'll just tell them that when they pay for my account, they can pick my spec.
I would like to see a SL review video focusing on what class/spec is the most fun to play as a mostly solo player. It's always Mythic this and raid that. A lot of us players haven't the time for hardcore stuff like that. I'm pretty sure most of us would like to be acknowledged once in a while. Like, maybe look at some cool things out in the world to explore.
I play demo it's also more tanky then the other 2 specs you may be able to stay alive or less focus on you to be healed by your healers.
I have an Orc Affliction Warlock, that is Necrolord. Mainly because my main is Revendreth and the other two covenants do not fit the fantasy. I also envision him having a thing for Draka. I look at it as toss corruption on and let my demon take care of it while I do other things.
Blizz please make pets respond to your pet control action bar! And increase the chance of gaining Demonic Cores from Imps. This will improve mobility and ramp-up mid-combat.

God I miss mop. I miss life draining an entire room at once, and basically becoming unkillable.
I might've missed it, but the reason I love Lock (demo) so much is that you can, almost always, kill ANYTHING. It might take some time, but I can solo most rares, Elites, groups etc. You have so many tools, it makes for very fun and interesting gameplay.
Affliction = damn fucking boring. Destruction = super fun, but moves like a brick. Demonology = best spec in the entire game from all the classes. I just love pet classes and demo is the best one. I just wish they'd give my metamorphosis and demonic leap back…

gona just say, u mention humongous chaos bolts which currently feel like hitting with a wet noodle, especially when other classes hit harder with less effort. had my own prot paladin crit harder with judgement..
til they buff the damage of it more destruction is really lacking in raid content against the other two specs which is real frustrating as i love destruction and cannot stand affliction, also its crap that 3/4 of the covenant abilities further buff affliction lock's malefic rapture where the other two specs dont get squit. though i will admit smashing afflic and demon locks in huntsman is great fun.
