  1. Nice reactions!

Yeah, there are plenty of cinematics and ingame cutscenes

Acutally, there is one before this too.

You have to see Warbringers, a story of each three major women in this expansion

Sylvanas, Jaina and Azshara. I recommmend to watch them first.

    All started with Warbringer Sylvanas

  2. The basic knowledge is Saurfang has just enough of the endless wars between Horde and Alliance (he's one of the few remaining Veterans who's still alive that's been through all of them and their were 3 great wars that involved only both parties) and Sylvanas (or as some have come to call her Sylvanus) orchestrated and set uout another plan for war, which he didn't agree with,

I could give you the entire lore backstory but then you'll be reading for like a couple of days and I'll be writing for a couple of hours and I dont want my hands to get cramped since its the middle of the night over here xD

  3. My favourite character in the entire game. Ever since he said this:
I am Saurfang. Brother of Broxigar. You know me to be the Supreme Commander of the Might of Kalimdor. An orc – a true orc warrior – wishes for one thing: To die in the glory of battle against a hated enemy. Some of you have fought in battles. Peace has been with us for many years. Many years we sat idle but many years we battled. In those years – where strife the land and Legion and Scourge sacked our homes, killed our families – these insects dwelled beneath us. Beneath our homes – waiting. Waiting to crush the life from our little ones. To slay all in their path. This they do for their god. And for our gods? We defend. We stand. We show that as one. United. We destroy. Their god will fall. To die today, on this field of battle, is to die an orcish death. To die today is to die for our little ones. Our old ones. Our… loved ones. Would any of you deny yourselves such a death? Such an honor?"

  4. This is going to be a long one.

So, the Backstory for Verrok (Saurfeng) Is not super well known. He has parents, but they are probably dead. He had a brother, who died, His wife died shortly after his son was born, and before she died, Saurfeng made a promise to her. That their son Draenosh Saurfeng would be "Safe and Untained." Well, Eventually his son Draenosh Saurfeng joined the horde and died at the hands of The Lich King at The Wrath Gate. Which is a Cinematic you can view, if you have not all ready.

"We named him Draenosh. It means "Heart of Draenor" in orcish. I wouldn't let the warlocks take him. I made a promise to his mother before she died that I would cross The Dark Portal alone. Wether I lived or died, My son would be safe and untainted. Hidden away amongst the elders of Garadar. Today, I fulfill that promise."

At the Wrath Gate Cinematic, Draenosh Saurfeng dies and is subsequently brought back by to life by The Lich King, and basically forced into servitude. Just before this fight begins you hear Verrok (Saurfeng) say this.

As Draenosh dies for the second time, He says "I.. Am.. Released."

Orcs are big on Honor, but Orcs also have a warped perception of honor. Which means that a lot of their actions are Honorable. The highest honor is to die in battle. Here Saurfeng is, Old in Age and still alive. He has also witnessed plenty acts of brutality, and even engaged in Dishonor himself a few times. This has him upset with the horde specifically.

  5. Regardless of how bad Warcraft became: Zappy boy telling FREAKING Saurfang (The brother of the greatest warrior ever) "like you?" is still beond great. Hope Blizz can at some point get back these type of characters.
