  1. I wonder if Xalitth was a mourne blade. The old god wifefu dagger. Can never recall how to spell it. Mourne blades appear to be soul powered blades and become more powerful the more and stronger souls being used.

  2. The memory cutscene confuses me somewhat. The jailor was freed of his bonds sometime before the crafting of Frostmourne and the Helm of Domination. How did he get free, and how long has he been active behind the scenes?

  3. Zovaal needs an army and needed to hide that fact from the Shadowlands rulers so "the vessels of Domination" were provided to Kiljaden by Nathrezims (for what purpose tho) and Zovaal controlled Lich King was gathering undead army for him, until we killed him. Bolvar was telling us of a voice whispering to him.

  4. Plot twist: The Nathrezim do not serve Zovaal or Denathrius. The Master they serve is a First One who hidden Frostmourne and the Helm on Azeroth from Zovaal because of how he betrayed the Eternal Ones and maybe. The Maw can be a blackhole or literally a Void Lord. Because of the name, I really believe it's time we see a Void Lord.

  5. Oké, what he basically says is the following: the first one tried to hide frostmourne and the helm of domination. He extracts the memories from the runecarver to find out what the first one hide from Zoval. So the runecarver ones made these items before Zovaal had taken him hostage. What do you guys think?

  6. so do you think Frostmournes' role is done, that it was used to make the lich king and help bring events to this point, or do you think it still have a part to play because remember the blade what forged into frost DK artifact weapons. Also is it just assumed that Zovaal just gave it to the nathrazim and that's how Sargarus got it.

  7. I think it's neither , frostmourne is just a blade . Azeroth seems unlikely also as the secret of azeroth would be it's location but he knows that and had the helm and blade fashioned to achieve his aim .

The secret the first ones tried to hide is how to tie a beings soul to an object. This technology is clearly useable in many ways.

  8. The reason why I think he’s taking about Azeroth is this is a flashback to when he told the runecarver to make the blade and helm and at that point nobody knew about Azeroth being a world soul.

  9. im going to be honest i dont believe that that cutscene of the jailor and the runecarver is actually a real cutscene atleast not the one we are watching maybe we will get a polished version but for the work that they have done with in game cinematics that one looks low budget and low grade for it be done authentically through blizzard

  10. it annoys me that if Frostmourne is that much powerful, it easily got shattered by a light blade (Ashbringer). What about Shadowmourne? is it a mourne blade? will it have a role in Shadowlands?

  11. What if Azeroth is not titan but sleeping clockmaker and Jailer wanted Frostmourne to take her soul and control by Helm of domination? Those items are not secret of First Ones bcs they were created by Runecarver ad Jailer said but true secret is Azeroth's identity and what First Ones did to her.

  12. Frostmourne would be ideal story line wrap up, I Think most people got into WoW Around that time would be a beauitful lore line to go with. i think Within Frostmourne lies the secret of the power of the first ones, basically how they made the eternal ones an the jailor wants it to undo the countless flaws he see's with the system around him. The one key if you will too help them unlock their imprisonment that is all of their realities. The key to the main reality the one the First ones are on. Then well explore that realm as well just a good ole grand exploration 🙂

  13. well if azeroth is the secret, then… the fact that souls of azeroth lifeforms are bound to return to azeroth instead of going to the shadowlands – could that be somebody's design to make sure the major cosmo-players in the shadowlands never take notice of azeroth? my thinking is that if no soul from azeroth ever goes to the shadowlands, nobody in shadowlands will ever inspect the soul (like the arbiter?) nobody will ever peek into the soul's memories (like devos did into uther's – look what it did to devos) and will never question the order of things?

  14. i honestly believe that there are 6 first ones to represent each of the cosmic forces and they are reponsible for the creation of what follows after (i.e Clockmaker- 6 firsts ones -pantheons of cosmic forces then everything else now here is where this are hazy for me i Dont believe the jailer is an Eternal one i believe he is actually 1 of the first ones and he is death itself as the ordering of the cosmos came to be the other 5 forces realized that death would inherit everything if it wasnt stopped or slowed down so they banded together an imprisioned him in the maw which was the actual shadowlands at the time and they created the seals to prevent him from breaking free impowering the other forces that had taken hold in the shadowlands giving order and preventing Zovaal from breaking free, Now the reason as to why the other cosmic forces banded together to stop and what did he do well let looks at the element of spirit its a core thing in every living thing when it dies it goes to the realm that it believed in, in life I.e Life-light order now what if Zovaal created Anima from it to empower himself and thats what caused his banishment

  15. Azeroth has been hidden? You serious? The titans tried to hide her from the legion, old gods, the jailor apparently and god knows who else they are gonna add to the story, I think the secret that the first ones hid away with Azeroth was the secret of creation.
Edit: or they could be referring to her still in her "sleeping" form as hidden away which I think the titans are doing "PURPOSE"ly….almost like they have been ORDERED to do so….

  16. How about this… the first ones had the Primus/Runecarver make a mourneblade to steal the Jailer’s soul. And in this scene the Jailer is extracting the secret from Runecarver on how. A mourneblade and helm, in fact, to extract souls and control/dominate.

  17. I thought also that the intent was the secret is yet unknown and the tools of Damnation would be used to to achieve its unravelling but… it could go either way. For me, I feel like Frostmourne and the helm is just… should they really be centerpieces for this cosmic struggle? It feels kind of weird, it feels like the secret should be bigger than that. That said, the power to control others is obviously pretty huge, so maybe it's more in that general sense and not necessarily the objects themselves.

  18. Similar to Pragmatic Bias' theory here, I think the "orb" inside the Arbiter indeed came from the Jailer's chest. The Arbiter is basically the First Ones' A.I. replacement for the Jailer. I think, a long time ago, the Jailer started sending souls to places they "shouldn't have been" experimentally, and they didn't approve. So, they made a super sophisticated A.I. that is the Arbiter, and banished him to the MAW as punishment.

  20. Nothing escapes the Maw doesn't mean that the Jailer cannot communicate with other people outside the Maw. It is likely that the Jailer allied himself with the Burning Legion and had the Nathrezim to be his agents to infiltrate and observe Legion's actions and probably one day lead the Legion if Sargeras and the other Legion higher-ups are killed or overthrown (thanks to Sire Denathrius). Also, the Helm of Domination and Frostmourne are just objects not living beings and can just be tossed into a portal to the Twisting Nether to be retrieved by the Nathrezim and later brought to Kiljaedan to twist Ner'zhul into the Lich King. It is also likely that the Azeroth Titan is a child of the First Ones and is like a First One Nephilim which can make Azeroth Nigh-Omnipotent.
