What Healer/Covenant combo are you going to try in 9.1.5? 🤔
Necro holy paladin is going to be tons of fun when we can use the covenant legendary (Duty-Bound Gavel) along with the Mad Paragon. Tons of uptime on wings combined with stronger Hammer of Wraths will be a blast.
For now, though, it suffers from not being viable at all without the necrolord legendary, which means it can't reap the benefits of the flexible legendaries available to Kyrian and Venthyr paladins. Sad, but I don't think this will change unless they make something from the necro legendary baseline in Vanquisher's Hammer.
Still sticking to krian on my main disc priest, if I ever play my shaman again ill make him that as well
Great video dude. It kinda sucks that us holy priests are stuck with flash concentration as there is nothing better. I would love to see them make the flash concentration effect baseline so we don't need to get a legendary to do it and then we would be open to try out other legendaries and covenants. Though I'm gonna try out a but more disc once 9.1.5 hits just to experience something different. keep up the good work dude.

I think something of note for holy priest that's honestly a positive people don't think about is that its pretty agnostic to covenant choice. You really can play whatever covenant you want to and they all have some really strong benefits. I love the Fae Guardians ability because of the tank external with guardian fairy, and buffing a DPS with Benevolent (or even yourself to get more hymns) is pretty awesome. But! It does still feel a bit clunky, I like venthyr because of the Draven soulbind because stand your ground is really synergistic with the "plant and cast" play style of flash con. Necro is great because as we know priests are pretty squish and having fleshcraft is really nice defensively, on top of that you have a 1 minute 13% int buff. Kyrian for me is special because i love the theme of the covenant, it really resonates with me for holy and boon is pretty powerful when you have it up, its just not as good as with disc because disc can double dip with atonement and the healing of boon itself (and can play the boon leggo).
But yea, for me, how holy shook out they really hit the nail on the head as far as "make your own meaningful choice" because you really can do that if all you play is holy priest
With my hpriest I only run m+ with kyrian, and I'll be experimenting with the kyrian leggo since getting other leggos will be easier with 9.1.5… honestly, with boon as holy I have switched my gameplay to play around it just like disc might, and I allow FC to drop if I'm currently SENDING… so my style has moved from straight "keep FC up and single target heal with splash heals" to "do as much dam as I can with high enough healing throughput"… disclaimer that I don't run high keys just above 15+ but it def works out and it's nice to contribute a lot more dam in m+ than I had been running NF

I'm just going to keep playing kyrian hpal, I honestly don't feel like learning anything else right now ( played 3 toons this xpac). I don't feel like doing torghast to make anymore leggos either.
