Fistweaving + ancient teachings of the monastery is giga. Please make it viable Blizzard. I like the damage buff + revival change working with mastery, but sadly I don't think it'll make mistweaver the meta 🙁 let's hope I'm wrong.
AToM should be baseline for MW.
Because, no way in hell i ever switch of it.

I hope MW gets more buffs so that I can play another healer besides my Hpally. The Melee damage play style is life!
and we waited almost a year for 10% more dmg…. well 600% to go to compete with the nerfed paladin
I loved the playstyle of fistweaving but the overall style felt somewhat off. Hopefully in 9.1 it'll be better
Personally i prefer range healing because i suck in hybrid dps/healing, but im not really intrested in it either, as i come from playing melee and i want something else. THOUGH im happy for all the fist weavers out there, that it is viable, even more than range healing monk (how i feel) and i have just switched away from monk healing as lng as it lasts and i play shaman/druid healer
nice changes! I agree it's weird you have to spam Enveloping Mist to make your Yulon/Chiji actually do something, not a fan personally

Baseline ATotM (and while we're baselining things, baseline Ring of Peace, too).
At that point and with the modest changes announced here, we'd at least be the clear top healer, which we need to be since we're dead last in utility and our DPS still isn't relevant.
Long term, there needs to be more utility/big cooldown abilities in the spec, and I agree with others here that Yulon/Chiji needs a rework to do that more readily.
So, MW is still in beta. These changes were needed 7 months ago, so they could actually make changes to MW that are relevant before launch.
These changes do literally nothing in a world where there is 5 other healer specs.
Are you kidding me? Why are people hyped for these pathetic buffs? Even if you naturally fistweave, you keep having troubles with mana and the bad healing output. Yulon/Chiji rewards you by damaging, but in the end it all costs… Mana.
As a MW main since Legion, I'm a bit disappointed
IMO Clouded Focus needs a buff to compete with Tear for us who like ranged over fisting

Rather have a pally.. they have an immune and more damage. Honesty if the group knows what they are doing i dont notice the heals…. so rip mistweaver
Idk why they can't just make some sort of redesign of Yu-Lon to give us at least 1 free Env Mist. For a raid of 20 you'd need 3 technically to blanket Env Breath 18 ppl. It is so strong HPS wise but is way too expensive mana wise.
Find firstweaving play style more fun than hpally.
Give rising sun kicks gust of mist, or black out kicks a chance to work with gust of mist and that will make mastery useful for Mistweaver.
Will u do a vid bout holy state for 9.1? After disc nerf do we have a chance to se holy shine this patch?
Dont forget that with Resplendent Mists conduit, you can get a pretty buffed Gusts of Mists proc on your Revival. It can interacs with Jade Bonds conduit too so more CD reduction on your celestial.
