Frequent (weekly? bi-weekly?) pvp tuning and soloqueue (arena and rbg) is the only thing that will get me interested in wow again. I'm not holding my breath.
I have mixed feelings on the weekly pvp rating system. Like Supa said, I can see how it could lead to more participation but in my mind the real problem is the seven item level difference between pvp brackets.
I just unsubbed from WoW today, whoever is running these changes really dont know wtf they're doing and Im sick of having to play a spec that I like the concept but doesn't get any buffs to make it competitive for months and months. We've been on castle nathria for 6 months and Im bored of running it. Ill check back in 6 months when there's actually something to do
Lol it will be all boosts, getting to 1800 was never this hard, I got to 1890 and every game after 1600 was glads, This makes it way worse. Solo Q is the only fix. Boosting killed brackets. Trash developers
Did I understand correctly?? You only need to win a game in your current bracket that week to UPGRADE the gear that week? Wadduheck does that even solve? So you can literally just hit your desired rating then farm honor in unrated PvP and upgrade everything that same week, effectively making this change entirely useless right!?.. Cause then you can just drop your rating and get back to boosting or face stomping for fun? Surely I misunderstood right? This wouldn’t even address the existing people that already have 226 gear that chose to drop to the combatant bracket would it? No wayyy they’re this incompetent right?
Right on blizzard, buff warriors and nerf priests again. As far as pvp gear goes, they sure dropped the ball on that one. Honor gear should be purchased from the vendor at 197 ilvl none of this having to upgrade crap. No wonder people are boosting, nobody wants to grind honor to upgrade gear that will be replaced with conquest gear when they could just buy carries. Brain dead blizz devs man.
This patch has only been 20 weeks (145 days). Season 8 was 37 weeks, BFA season 4 was 38 weeks, season 11 was 38 weeks. We're not even remotely close to the longest season.

Why not just have gear scale to the average rating of your team. Eliminates all gear differentials.

They are told that the rating caps and gear gaps for pvp are too high. This is their answer?

Frost and Unholy DK need major buffs to deathstrike. Its not even worth putting your bar.
