World of Warcraft (WoW) Patch 9.1 Shadowlands healer balance video for determining best healers in all PvE content. I talk about each healer strengths and weaknesses in the new 9.1 patch and how they might perform in Sanctum of Domination raid or when encountering the new Mythic Plus affix called Tormented.
This video should also help you to find a new main whether you want to do high-end M+/Raid content or just want a healer that is going to be fun and easy for PUG scenarios in 9.1!

What healer changes do you expect to see during heroic/mythic raid week? 🤔
2nd comment, more algorithme!
I want to swap from Disci priest to something else, cause I don't like it anymore
Chaman Ventyr or Kyrian monk is my choice, I don't know which one to play cause I am afraid that monk buff are not enough… And that legendarie on Cham seems OP ^^
Im just hoping Blizz dosent mess the Kyrian Shaman leggo! Just… please let us have a great leggo – it still higher skill sealing for placement than chain harvest and we still cant compete with Ashen burst damage…
Basicly: Play paladin or get f*cked
I'm a venthyr disc. Should I consider changing to kyrian now? I raid and do m+
One thing I'd like to know is how different it is to be venthyr disc priest vs kyrian for m+. I really like my venthyr priest and don't want to change him. But I also want to push 20s in 9.1 hrrrmmmmm will have to see.
I really appreciate your take about meta decisions. Very balanced and objective position. Thanks for the content!
I think what you said about picking a class because u found it fun but in the end because unbalaced toolkits and community perception will lead you to a road where u cant enjoy the game cause you are not optimal. Nowdays is more important how much damage u do as healer instead of healing, how u can bypass a situation with a spell(bleed efect with bop from hpally) are more important then healing that bleed. Start from legion where they redesing hpally and dpriest they just invented a new demand, hpally are the kings of healers from then to now because their damage and damage reduction cd, disc priest is so anoying being there the most stresfull healer to play with mediocre results…
For the first time disc priest feels better in m+ than raid. Infact it feels like shit in raid. Infact it feels so bad in raid i might quit playing.
Doesn't matter what the charts say, it's how the person behind the keyboard plays.
i started my first character as paladin (tank/healer), and now i am playing monk (tank/healer). i have exactly the opposite feeling of internet.
for keys before 15
Holy pal is way more difficult to play in stone M+, while fistweaver or mistweaver is way easier.
But in a experienced team it is the opposite.
I’m a Druid player through and through… but I do enjoy alts! Mainly I have gone Druid (all specs), MW Monk, and Disc Priest. But this expansion with the Covenants I’ve made multiple of one class for the first time, and it’s not fun. I had my NF Druid for everything PvE and a Necro Druid for Resto and Feral PvP. I barely had time to work on my MW Monk and I dropped my Priest a couple months ago. Now with 9.1 the meta for Balance is looking like Venthyr. Playing multiple of the same class to be “optimal” in the eyes of PUGs or even guildies is just not very fun.
What you say about Hpally does not Match 100% with the Pally Discord. Especially, Ventyr Pala will play with Maraads Leggo + Lights Hammer or Bestow Faith in Raid.
Kyrian almost has no change
I kinda wish they would get out of this juggling act with ranged vs melee MW. Make MW ranged and then give DH a healing spec based on the mechanics of FW.
I wish Blizzard would bring back the Wrath deals 20% more and heals a random injured target by 150% of damage done. Maybe something like each HoT increases target's damage done or something.
in 8.2/8.3 i was playin HOLY paladin and i had lot of FUN
People were asking me why are you switing to Restoration shaman ? holy paladin is better for m+ and i was like ye that is maybe true but i want to play something else because i'm bored of the paladin playstyle and i really loved resto shaman at that time..now i'm like saw people crying on forums that MW monk is terrible and i'm temped to play it xD
How can a resto druid pump heals like a mw monk?
I switched from Holy Priest to Shaman at the beginning of BFA and have no desire to ever look back. Resto Shaman is way to much fun in keys. Having stuns, interrupts, elemental, spirit links and being able to damage is sooooooooo much fun! I won't be switching for awhile.
HPaladin is such an outlier. It really needs to be brought in line with others healers. It's the DH tank scenario all over.
You should play a White Mage, a Scholar, or an Astrologian.
boys , paladin holy kyrian or verthry ? for m+ ?
just give MW 5% or 10% verse to party members/raid during Chi Ji, easy
Hi! I think you might have missed one thing/didn't touch on when talking about chasing the meta and why some of us pick only meta class. Some of us choose to play meta classes, not because they are the strongest but because it's so hard getting invited to raids and higher m+ if you do not play a meta class. You can be 300 rio above another that is searching to the group and get declined for the other, simply because your class is not meta but the other guys class is.
I like to play what i feel good with. Only thing that i want to know what covenants is good for what healer. Cause so far alot of classes have now different covenants.
Hey mad,
I'd say to people, if you want to get into groups play meta.
I have a 10/10 CE warlock best in slot gear, can hardly get into a 15 key.
I also play a bit of boomy, kinda scuffed character 222 ilvl, and I easily get into keys. Warlock does more damage but people just see that colour and think wait wtf is this a purple class? Thats not what they play in the mdi so it must be in the bin lol.
Honestly just reroll often and quickly if you wanna be able to get into groups.
If you dont care, then play whatever.
I dont know that much about healers but i feel like the throughput graph showing resto druid on top is a trap lol.
Its still gonna be shaman, disc and holy pala, theres nothing to it.
I love MW playstyle. i am gearing mine at the moment. No Lego yet incase changes, what do you suggest about crafting lego's for 9.1?
fistweaver was my main for the first few months of SL, honestly it got boring for me, it felt like there wasn't any decision making. I would just use EF to activate legendary buff and punch stuff while it lasted, repeat (in raid). the change to Revival seems cool, but I still can't see myself enjoying it as a main in its current state
(it is certainly more interesting in m+, ring of peace is always fun, but I mainly raid so…)
I`ll with holy priest, 1st alt mistweaver, 2nd alt resto shammy
thanks mad nice content again i am playing pala and mistweaver shammie atm and i find pala in raid not easy to play
are u going kyrian as shammie in 9.1?
I fucking love your videos. Never stop making them! Lol
I am probably sticking with my Rsham. But I keep my Venthyr Hpal geared as I find that play style more fun… Although my Rsham I am just better with overall and I love the utility it brings for groups.
9.1 rdruid in keys should end up being more powerful than 9.0, the night Fae leggo with niya giving grove tending every minute. A mini convoke every minute, paired with flourish on on the harder pulls will mean so many GCDs for damage.
I don't think it will usurp the current kings but we should see more druid at higher key levels than we have at the moment with the extra power, and that's all before how powerful druid has historically been as we get more secondary stats
From my perspective, the lack of Mistweaver in MM+ is due to the lack of power in AOE healing. I have Rshaman and Mistweaver, my Rshaman is 213 iLvl and I feel like I can get out difficult situation way faster/easier compare to the monk. If everything goes well monk is ok. If it goes sideways/people die you need Tear of the Morning and you mana don't follow in 9.0.5
I'm going back to my MW this patch. Played rdruid on 9.0 and had fun, but I miss the dynamic fistweaving playstyle
Everyone says – play with Kyr on pala if you want
Also RL – play Ventr everywhere, you have no choice 🙂
The funny thing? Arms warrior topping DPS . Maining misweaver in 9.1. I just love the fistweaving playstile.
Its been a while since you did a "what's fun" video. I keep seeing you mention that MW is the most fun, can you make a more in depth video on your opinion for why MW or Holy priest is "fun" or what is fun about each spec? That would be a cool series!
Sticking to my neccrolord MW monk, just so fun, and the brew interaction with gusts is a nice addition,
If a player really know how to play their class/spec, meta or not for the xpac.. They will always find a way to be able to play it in game or advance in content! Blizz can’t stop us! 😜 Btw love your videos @MadSkillzzTV!
They need to revert the resto shaman nerfs to keep up with rdruids and hpal.
Been playing the Mistweaver monk since MOP. Funnest class IMO. I have never Fistweaved until this expansion. Didn’t like it at first, but now I don’t see myself ever going back to range unless blizzard makes us haha.
As much as i love my Resto Druid (will always be my favourite healer!) their damage just feels so lacking. I jump back onto him after playing a (MUCH) lower geared shaman and i feel like im doing nothing to help get things dead.
honestly, i'd happily trade the wildgrowth/rejuv buffs we got in 9.0.5 just for our DoT's to scale off our mastery (like HoT's do) or SOMETHING.
I'm in a push group and they have been wanting me to go Venth Pally… but I can't let go of my MW; I love it too much!
What you said there @ 22:33, as a solo player I think you are 100% wrong. At the end of the day, yea you can play what you want or enjoy playing, but if you are a solo player trying to get into pve content, you most likely need to play a class that is meta. Sure you can overgear your self and hope that ppl might take you based on ilvl alone, but there has been multiple times where I've been passed out as a MW for lower ilvl meta classes. I don't even do M+ dungeons anymore as a MW cuz its so frustrating getting declines for groups. MW sucked this entire patch and blizz didnt do fuck all. For that reason alone I hope all those Blizz Devs get oral herpes. Fuck them. Fuck Ion too.
I mean community perception is easily the biggest barrier. Healer balance could be nearly perfect, yet when people devour tier list content that says (in this hypothetical) Rdruid and Hpriest are the top healers, when you are looking at PUGs in any key above say +12, it will be extremely hard to find a group. I know that streamers usually clarify and say this is only for the very top edge of cutting edge content, but that's sadly the world in which we live. *source: I'm a MW Monk lolol
Good analysis, I like it. Even though you say "fon" instead of "fun" and "plius" instead of "plus" 😆 👍
