  1. I would need to agree. stop making us do rep grinds or quests to min/max each character but reward the same things just for playing the character or alt in rated pvp or m+ or mythic raids…. not that hard to figure out. We want to play many characters but we dont want to do the same boring content like daily quests

  2. 6:47 Glad you caught that. It's very telling. An Ion apology is one of those "I'm sorry you're offended" type apologies, it's just his personality. He's never at fault, it's always the player base. I'm amazed the guy still has his job. Perhaps players haven't expressed enough dissatisfaction with his game direction yet? Really??? Also Supa aren't you a Blizzard employee? Do they not have a feedback card you can put in a box somewhere for us? Maybe send a fax with a link to this video? You, Venruki, Ziqo- all of you know why we gripe, especially about PVP- and you're all on staff! If you can't get through what hope do we have? Hopefully Microsoft promotes the guy to head of mobile games or some other nonsense that doesn't effect us.

  3. Not going to lie but it feels boring and empty right now. Story done in less than an hour. World quest unlocked gave 3 quests I think. Cypher is time gated. I was basically done with everything in 1.5 hrs. More will happen with raid and M+ as well as pvp but not much going on for a big content patch

  4. Wow needs more diversity in its customization not more additive customization. Instead of a new system why not just add 4 options per talent row, hell even more talent rows with passive effects wouldn't cause ability bloat. If they really feel a need to add new systems why not bring back major and prime glyphs… those were basically talents with the same exact functionality as pvp talents or even conduits for a more modern comparison. The only borrowed power worth pushing is shit that changes from patch to patch, cough cough tiersets. If you only have an ability/passsive effect for 4-6 months then you're not going miss it nearly as much when its gone and considering its replaced with a different effect you are never really losing power. This promotes new playstyles/class design on a more frequent level.

  5. Never in my life have I been so conflicted about subscribing to WoW, but the past 6-7 months the desire to play wow has completely died, thanks to such a great game design the game feels so incredibly tedious and tiring I just can't deal with it anymore, hopefully next xpac under Microsoft supervision will at least be a bit better than the previous 2…

  6. So much bullshit packed in those statements. He might as well have said "we had the right idea, but players were too stupid to appreciate our brilliance, so now we're pivoting."

    1) WoW is not a strict rpg. It's a competitive game, and at the higher end it's an esport. Player power doesn't "feel" mandatory, it IS mandatory. Playing meta classes is also mandatory, not just because you need to perform at the highest level, but because you need to get fucking invited to groups. Matchmaking does not exist for high-end content. You have to advertise your own character and you do that by playing a solid spec that is optimized correctly with gear, powers, etc. Otherwise, your endgame consists of counting laps around Oribos.

    2) He's absolutely full of shit in his comments about "fraction of a percent" power gains. I know they've simmed those gems and higher-end conduits. For many classes those are MASSIVE power gains. Try playing an affliction warlock in pvp with and without ~3% haste and ~12% movement speed from the gems. For some classes, conduits are even more important.

Regardless of Ion's arrogance, deflection, and absolutely catastrophic record as game designer, at least they ARE pivoting and I only hope it continues into 10.0, a patch that could maybe be of a higher caliber than just "alright" like 9.2

  7. I think the gameplay would be fun, but there is not a single reward to get excited about. The elite pvp sets have the worst color palette possible (mostly dark grey), there is no new elite enchant (as far as I am aware) and the glad mount looks boring as well. I enjoy PvP and arenas, but I want rewards to chase and there just isn't anything special in 9.2.

  8. So far I've enjoyed it, I call it the BB8 zone lol. Alts need help, and it appears that will happen. Alts=more time in game for players which= $ for Blizz. This should have been fixed several expansions ago. Players love alts, its that simple. In terms of nerfs and tweaking…this should have been done months ago. I'm sure in a month there will be a hotfix with some more nerfs. For example..Enhancement Shamans may get clipped in the first round of hotfixes.

  9. 9.2 actually made me finally quit. It’s totally lame and unbalanced. Just more shit to do that’s not fun just to keep the game going.

I main mistweaver and I’m not desired at all in pvp lol. You hit the nail on the head on that one.

  10. i’m not a game dev but the first day in zerith mortis felt bad. zone was amazing. i love the zone. what felt bad was sort of hitting a wall with almost nothing to do until more world quests spawned.

  11. looks like the conduit upgrades arent account bound after hitting reputation requirement on a toon. I tried going to Zereth Mortis on an alt after hitting friendly on my main and was not able to buy the conduit upgrade item. cmon blizz

  12. The creation catalyst is coming in 2 or 3 months. That's unreasonable.
Especially since we don't get PvP scaling gear from Raid and the only way how to get a Tier bonus for PvP is from Vault it seems.

  13. Right now u can not progress at all, its set forcefully for you to dedicate time to alts, basically u can not play to progress or u can say u now have a way to play the game, and then u have to find this tiny zone where u can actually have fun.
