Will Shadowlands be delayed? Several content creators seem worried about the state of the game at this point, and the fact that we still don’t have a release date for the Shadowlands Pre-patch doesn’t help the situation either. At this point, a delay might happen. There are still a lot of bugs and issues that needs to be fixed on the shadowlands beta, there are still bugs that needs to be fixed on the ptr (prepatch), and there’s still a lot of tuning that needs to be done before Shadowlands goes live. Basically, there’s a lot of work that needs to be done, and we’re only 26 days away from the official release date. So, with this in mind, will Shadowlands be delayed? Well, in this video I will give some reasons why it could be, and why it won’t be, based on my opinions on the subject.
Based on the fact that we still don’t have any release date for the shadowlands pre patch, the shadowlands covenants still feel broken and needs more tuning, and shadowlands clearly needs more changes, I think there is a high chance of a delay. But arguements can be made both for and against a delay and in this video I try to do exactly that.

  2. Do you guys think Shadowlands will be delayed?
    Here's a summary of the video:
    We've had little to no communication from Blizzard the last month regarding development of shadowlands/prepatch, there's many issues both on ptr and beta, and they still have a lot of work to do before the expansion is ready to go out. We're 26 days away from the release date, and we don't even have pre-patch yet. To put this into perspective, BFA pre-patch lasted 28 days, legion prepatch lasted 40+ days.
    Blizzard would've delayed the launch of Shadowlands, or set a later launch date to begin with.
    Activision Blizzard will most likely not allow a delay.
    If we don't get any announcement over this weekend or a pre-patch launch/announcement by October 6th, we should be very worried and a delay is highly likely in that case. Many content creators have already spoken up about this, Bellular made a video on the topic 2 hours ago, there's Asmongold clips about the subject in the description, and people are talking about it on Reddit. Blizzard has to respond, and they have to do it soon.

  3. From what I saw it seemed like its just what a lot of people want. Not that they would actually do it! Do you have any info that they will? I think they should from what ive seen, but it really dont think they will
