Hey guys!
I was getting a lot of comments on stream today about the recent news regarding the Shadowlands expansion being delayed. Rather than repeating myself every few minutes, I thought i’d make a quick video with my thoughts on it!
I think this is a good decision by Blizzard. I think most people would agree it’s worth a little while longer waiting to make sure we are delivered a finished product. We are paying for polish after all! Prepatch will be live on 13th October and I predict that the Expansion will launch on 10th Nov~

It had to be done 100% but I'm really surprised they were allowed to do it. Like you said, the majority of players (myself include) are certain that Activision has Blizzard by the balls, especially if it's a decision that's extremely likely to cost them money. Hopefully, they saw that ultimately, this will lead to better profits for them and happier players (assuming they don't fuck up the game after already having delayed it).

I totally agree it's the least corporate decision Blizzard has made in a very long time. I hope the delay is long enough to deliver the polish they claim will come with it. I whole heartedly want WoW to make fun games, because after my huge time and money investment (playing since TBC) I will play whether its fun or not, so I would rather it be fun obviously.
getting ready to do my last three raids before my sub runs out so i can stop beating the dead horse before sl is launched, cba waiting for something good knowing its not gonna be good 🙁 good decision to postpone the launch to polish stuff but waiting for sl is torture tbh, the game isnt fun anymore KEKW

I took a week of for Shadowlands wich kinda sucks but rather they delay then ship it broken. Now I have a week to spend time with the family.
I'm just hoping that people won't expect for game to be spotless on release just because of this delay. Lets face it, they will fix something but not everything. broken game at start of patch/expansion is just the way things are, you cant test properly without millions hitting servers and trying most crazy things.
